Battling a sore throat with Grether's Pastilles

If there's one thing I can guarantee about the new season, it's that I'll most definitely get a sore throat, cough or cold of some sort! So when I had the chance to review Grether's Pastilles on my blog, I jumped at the chance.

Grether's Pastilles are handmade in Switzerland and are packaged in these cute little tins and refill packets are available too - so you're never without them! I chose the Blackcurrant Sugar Free flavour because I am obsessed with this flavour. Instead of chewing the pastilles, you gently suck on them and you can actually feel a protective layer coating your throat.

Whenever I am suffering from a sore throat or feel one about to attack, I pop a Grether's Pastilles in my mouth and it feels instantly soothed and protected again. I did a little research into the brand and loved reading about their manufacturing process, did you know the pastilles sit for 3 months before being packaged into tins? That's how you get all the nourishment from the pastilles!

You can pick up Grether's Pastilles from allcures.com and the tins start at £3.99. The other flavours include Elderflower, Redcurrant and Blueberry too, all of which are on my list to try next...

Have you tried Grether's Pastilles before?

Thanks for reading!

Travelling with Twist & Spritz and The Fragrance Shop

When it comes to travelling, I like to travel light (because that means I can fit in more shopping, no?) and it's especially important when it comes to my favourite fragrance. Currently I am loving Daisy by Marc Jacobs, which I picked up from The Fragrance Shop along with the Twist & Spritz fragrance atomiser.

Daisy by Marc Jacobs is a fresh and uplifting scent, the perfect daytime scent and it's fast becoming my signature scent. Although I do adore the bottle design, it isn't exactly travel friendly. That's where the Twist & Spritz fragrance atomiser comes into play.

You simply pump the fragrance into the atomiser, so there's no faffing around pouring the fragrance from one to another - and you're ready to go! Obviously I picked the rose gold style because I'm that cliche. It also fits perfectly in my handbag so I'm never without my signature scent.

Have you tried Daisy by Marc Jacobs or Twist & Spritz before?
