OOTD: Primark Stripe and Green Skirt

Jacket, Top and Skirt: Primark
Shoes: Missguided
Bag: Souvenir from Florence, Italy

I am a Primark magpie, it's one of my favourite places to shop and finding those hidden gems for a fraction of the price from other high streets is a massive win for my purse and wardrobe. It's lucky that I work just by the large Tottenham Court Road branch, but also my local Crawley shop regularly re-stocks it's shelves with fresh new fashion. I found this gorgeous green pleated skirt the other day for just £8 and I know it'll work just as well at winter with tights and boots too, a real multi-tasker!

The only issue I have with Primark is that it's fast and cheap fashion. I'd love to have a capsule wardrobe with great quality staples that'll last years and years until you've worn them through. And I do choose jackets and jeans for example from Zara, ASOS and Topshop because they will last me a good while before replacing. It's shops like Primark and New Look that fill that gap of having up to date fashion without spending too much. After my Primark clothes are looking a little worn and done with, they'll either head to the charity shop or for recycling, or even to friends if they can be re-used again.

What are your thoughts on fast fashion? Do you love Primark too?

Thanks for reading!
