The Best Products For Wavy Hair

My hair is naturally wavy and thick, but sometimes it needs a little helping hand to define my waves and curls. If my hair was left to air dry itself, there would be a whole lot of frizz and corkscrew curls to deal with! So here are those products for wavy hair I can't live without...

Hair masks are a proper treat for me because a. I'm lazy and b. they make my hair go all swishy! I've never tried anything from Bumble and Bumble until I won their Curl Conscious Nourishing Masque at a raffle. This really helps to make my curls feel lightweight and define them as my thick hair generally weighs them down. It smells gorgeous and applies like a dream to my hair, and thankfully only takes 10 minutes so I'm not impatiently waiting...

My lovely sister bought this for me a little while ago and it's still going strong! I must be towards the end of it now because I use it regularly. Once I've washed and towel dried my hair, I apply a large pump of the TIGI Bed Head Foxy Curls in my hands then run it through my hair and particularly on the middle and ends of my hair. It smells super sweet and delicious, almost like you want to eat it... I find this is the best product for giving me natural and pretty waves, especially after air drying.

If I'm in a rush and want to quickly add a few natural waves to my hair, this is the product I turn to. A few years ago the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray was everywhere and everyone was using it to add texture and beachy waves to their hair. On either damp or dry hair, I just spritz this across my hair and give it a bit of a squeeze to help encourage a few waves!

Sometimes because my hair is so thick and heavy, my waves can fall down quite easily if I don't use a hairspray. At the moment I'm using the ghd Final Shine Hairspray that not only sets my hair and stops my waves from falling down, but it also adds a gorgeous sheen to my hair. It's not crunchy or stiff like some hairsprays can leave your hair looking like either.
