Skincare I Have Been Loving

It's not often that I'll find a select few skincare pieces that my skin really loves. But recently I've found a few products that have really made a difference to my skin. It's mainly products in the moisturising section than cleansing, because I haven't really found anything that's wowed me in that department at the moment.

My skin has been drinking this product up! I got the new Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser last year as a freebie from an event and have been using it every day for the past few months. My skin is generally combination but leans more towards dry, I get these really sore patches across the tops of my cheeks and temples which this product has really helped with. It's super light and absorbs into my skin instantly, whilst cooling and soothing any redness.

As mentioned before I get these dry patches across my cheeks fairly often and only products with hydrating ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid can help. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid serum has completely changed the texture of my skin, it's now brighter and smoother than before and my dry patches have almost cleared up. The serum is applied through a pipette and is a clear serum which applies very easily and doesn't leave your skin tacky either. See what else I got from The Ordinary from my New Skincare and Beauty post.

Before now I always though eye creams were for older and ageing skin, simply because there wasn't something for my age range. Now I've discovered the Origins Age Defense Eye Cream with White Tea and SPF 20 it's proof that there's an eye cream for all ages! It's super light and easy to massage into your eyes, whilst leaving a good base for your eye makeup. A little goes a long way with this product so I know I'll be using it for a while to come!

SPF is a big deal for my skin as I burn so easily that not wearing it isn't an option. I know you're supposed to wear a protection layer of SPF each day, which is why the Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful Sunshield Superfluid SPF 50 is perfect for my routine. I just add a thin layer after moisturising and wait a few minutes before applying makeup then I'm good to go. I like that it's non-greasy and doesn't leave my skin looking shiny after, plus knowing that I've got a good layer of SPF is reassuring!

What skincare products have you been enjoying recently?
