New Primark and H&M Haul

I normally have a pretty good eye for picking out the good stuff from Primark and I can generally find 'on trend' clothing similar to those from Zara and Topshop etc. I'll chose clothes from Primark and other affordable stores then pick staple pieces from high end highstreet shops that I'll spend the money on to last longer.

Men's Gingham Shirt £6 Primark

Gingham is a big trend that's happening right now, so I combined my addiction to shirts and the latest print together. Another shopping tip that I use a lot is shopping in the men's section, for example this shirt may have cost £10 for a similar version in the women's department but only £6 in the men's. I can wear it tucked into my leather skirt, with the collar poking out of a sweatshirt or as it is with trousers or jeans.

Off The Shoulder Dress £13 Primark

The bare shoulder trend is another one that I love and Primark have got a great selection of various tops, as well as this pretty boho dress. It has a lining underneath that means it's warm for the evenings but light and airy for summer days, and also these pretty lace cut outs across the sleeves. I'll definitely be wearing this for when I go to Rome in July for day trips out!

Pink Embroidered Shirt Dress £13 Primark

So I probably didn't need this dress but it was calling my name anyway... I like the shape and embroidery detail across the front sections, plus the blush pink shade is too pretty to miss! Shirts are my downfall and shirt dresses are also an addiction for me know. I've been wearing this with a brown plaited belt and black lace up pumps for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago and managed to get chocolate brownie on my dress *typical*

3 Pairs of 80 Denier Tights £3.50 Primark

A classic purchase from Primark. Tights are essential for me throughout the year and these are supposed to have weather 'sensors' to detect when it's warm and cool. 80 denier is what I usually go for as it's thick enough to keep me warm and not so thin that they're prone to holes!

Remember my Buying The Basics post a few weeks ago? I have replaced my blue pin stripe shirt that has been wearing thin for a while now. H&M are a great place for buying the basics as they have such a variety and are always good value. This shirt was usually £12.99, but as you can tell from the price tag I picked it up for £7! The fit is really nice and tailored, plus ultra light and breathable too. I had to go a size up to a 12 in this shirt to avoid flashing anyone!

What clothes have you picked up recently?
