I've always been a nail polish or gel manicure kinda gal, never really venturing into gems and diamontes or nail wraps until now. I met the creator of Dinki Belle Nail Wraps, Nadia, at The Bloggers Summer Hangout and she generously gifted me the Cherry Blossom Nail Wraps set. My favourite colour to wear on my nails is red, it's feminine, exciting and goes with everything and blossom patterns remind me of memories in Japan.

Dinki Belle is a non-toxic and kind-to-nails nail wrap brand, providing gorgeous and fashionable patterns at your fingertips - the perfect alternative to nail polish!

I'll start with how to apply nail wraps:

1. Clean and buff your nails to a smooth surface.

2. Choose the right size to suit your nail and remove the clear cover

3. Lift the wrap using the silver tab and apply to the nail, smoothing out any wrinkles.

4. Wrap around the nail and file off excess in a downward motion.

5. Add a clear nail polish top.

I had a few issues of applying the nail wraps, being a newbie to nail wraps this was expected! At first, it was hard choosing the right shape for my nails, so I had to roughly cut them to fit my nail shape. Then I forgot to peel off the clear cover from step two, which meant I had to go back to remove it after shaping and filing off the excess already! Another top tip, would be not to have a hot bath or shower after applying them, otherwise they could peel off if they haven't properly stuck on.

Once I got through the first few hurdles, I really loved them. Sometimes having the same colour on your nails day in day out can be boring, but these have a few patterned styles which look seriously cool. I've had a lot of compliments on them and another bonus is that they haven't chipped or peeled off! Keeping my nails in good condition after painting them can be so time consuming, but these are so easy to maintain and last for ages. I'd definitely recommend these for those who haven't got ages to paint and dry their nails, but still like a little colour on their nails. I'd already got my eye on the Spring Blossom and Peacock Nail Wraps to try next!

Have you tried Dinki Belle Nail Wraps before? What's your favourite style/pattern?
