This Month I...

July was a busy month, I had two weeks of birthday dinners and activities plus my work has been full-on since I got back from holiday in June, that I've hardly had time to even blog. There was a week-absence on my blog and social media last week, partly down to finding time to actually write and take photos and the fact that my SD card broke and I couldn't access any of my photos. But I'm back with another monthly round up!

This Month I... ate a lot of birthday food! Including this amazing cake my sister made for my 21st birthday, which we're still making our way through this week... I had dinner with friends at Wahaca and Vapiano too, definitely ones to try if you're in London.

This Month I... walked the charity Midnight Walk for St Catherine's Hospice. I haven't bought too much this month, but I do have a Look Fantastic order on its way which makes up for it! Instead of spending money, at the beginning of July I walked 13 miles at midnight for St Catherine's Hospice raising over £200. Sometimes it's not all about buying and shopping, but raising money for charities or those in need makes such a difference.

This Month I... read a lot of books! Every book I picked up this month had me hooked and now have a permanent spot on my bookshelf. I got these from my parents for my birthday and have just finished the first one and am now onto The Girl On The Train! Catch up with my book reviews of The Blue by Lucy Clarke and The Sunrise by Victoria Hislop

This month I... watched Romeo & Juliet at the Garrick Theatre and Aladdin at The Prince Edward Theatre. July has been a lucky month for watching shows, first was Aladdin for my 21st birthday with my family. The show is just amazing and everything you'd expect, the costumes and set design are particularly brilliant. The came Romeo & Juliet, who had Lily James starring as Juliet. I adore Shakespeare and hadn't seen Romeo & Juliet on stage before, so this was a definite highlight for me!

This Month I... celebrated my 21st birthday. It's a big one, and it's only just settling in that I am officially 21 and an adult! I had a great few days celebrating with my family and friends and couldn't have asked for anything more. Keep an eye out for my 21st Birthday Presents post coming later this week!

How was July for you? I hope you had a great month.

Thanks for reading!
