The Pink Parcel Review

The Pink Parcel, Pink Parcel, Period, Monthly Period, Beauty, Sweets, Tampons

You guys may have heard of The Pink Parcel before from other bloggers, on social media or just a general search, but this monthly box is totally different from the rest. I caught up with the girls from The Pink Parcel a few weekends ago at The Bloggers Summer Hangout (link here to the review) and I've been trialing my own Pink Parcel for the past few weeks and thought I would review it.

The Pink Parcel is basically a monthly subscription box for your period! Each month you'll receive a selection of tampons and pads from your favourite brands, along side a few beauty products, something sweet and a tea bag - because tea is proven to help you at that time of the month. You can sign up for just £6.99 for your first box, then it's £10.50 afterwards.

In my Pink Parcel I received a gorgeous blush pink-mauve-grey nail polish from Lottie London in Blogger Babe. I've been wanting to try this brand for a while now and have definitely been surprised at how long it lasts without chipping (4-5 days!) and how opaque the colour is too. I've uploaded a Instagram of my painted nails, so check it out. Next is the Green People SPF 30 Sun Lotion, I've used this brand before and loved the results, I'll be using this throughout the summer when my current SPF has run out!

Clean & Clear takes me back to my teenage days when I had crazy bad spots, I do get a few around my chin now and their Spot Control Moisturiser has stopped them from turning too red and spotty! The consistency is a little too thick for my skin but it doesn't leave it at all greasy! Then we have the amazing Bourjois Beauty'Full Volume Dark Khol Mascara, the brush has two round blobs which really pack the volume onto your lashes without making them look clumpy (my pet hate!). I also received a eyeshadow duo from Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics in Lightning, first what a crazy cool name and second their packaging is just too cute with flamingos! The colours are a gorgeous gold and deep navy, which aren't my usual colours but have been a great addition for going out.

Onto the food part, I got a super sweet tea from the English Tea Shop in Cranberry Vanilla Delight which I actually tested during my period and it really did help! I prefer sweet berry teas and this one is naturally caffeine free so I wasn't bouncing off the walls afterwards. The comes my favourite part, the Double Trouble Gourmet Butter Fudge from The Fudge Kitchen, so delicious and the perfect size for a sweet treat.

As well as my Pink Parcel, I got a packed of Jealous Sweets which are tasty natural sweets (even better than Haribo, I have to say) and a little pouch of tampons, that I now keep in my bag in case of emergencies. The Pink Parcel is a great and innovative monthly subscription box with products that are useful and something that you would probably buy yourself too - make sure you sign up to get your first box for £6.99!

Have you tried The Pink Parcel before? What's your favourite product?
