This Month I...

Had another crazy month! If I thought February whizzed past, then March was just a blur to me. My mum, sister and I held another charity coffee morning, selling cakes, raffle tickets and more for our local hospice, I managed to squeeze in a few social visits with friends and I had the best long and relaxing Easter weekend! I hope March was a fab month for you too.

This Month I..., Macaroons, How To Make Macaroons, Nutella, Chocolate Macaroons

This Month I... ate homemade macaroons! I tried and attempted to make chocolate macaroons from the Nutella recipe book and shared my recipe here. Even though they don't quite look like macaroons, they still tasted the same and I'll definitely be trying them again!

Accessorize, Backpack, Two Toned, Smart Backpack, Accessorize Backpack, This Month I..., March

This Month I... bought a new backpack. So it was RIP to my fellow ASOS black leather bag and hello to this Accessorize favourite! Backpacks are so much easier for me to use when walking to work and helps ease back and shoulder pain. After a long time searching, I finally found this one in the sale, so keep an eye out for OOTD's posts with this bag! Shop this backpack here.

Blogosphere Magazine, Blogging Magazine, Bloggers Magazine, This Month I..., March, Magazine

This Month I... read Blogosphere magazine. I've always seen bloggers talking about the new issues of Blogospehere magazine, but never managed to pick one up in time. After searching for a while, I managed to find a copy in WH Smith and have loved all the amazing tips and new blog reads! I'd definitely recommend it to all bloggers.

This Month I... watched The People vs. Oj Simpson: American Crime Story. Oh my, this is an amazing tv series to watch! It's available on BB iPlayer and also on BBC2 and is honestly a really great crime show to watch. I've always been interested in the American court system and this story is such a high profile case that it's not one to miss! Watch it here.

Legacy Cheer & Dance Competition, london, Cheerleading, Cheer, Competition, Olympic Park, 2016, This Month I..., March

The Month I... experienced my first cheerleading competition! One of my lovely colleague and friend at work trains as a cheerleader part time and had a competition last month in London (it just missed the February This Month I...!), which I went along to to support her team. My colleague and friend is a flyer, which means she's one of the girls which gets thrown up in the air a lot and as her and her team are one of the best in the country, of course they won their division! The whole experience was so fun and exciting, so next time there's a London comp I'll be going along again.

What did you get up to in March? What were you highlights?

OOTD: New Look Spotty Shirt and Zara Leather Skirt

OOTD, Outfit, Outfit Of The Day, Zara, Zara Leather Skirt, New Look, New Look Spotty Shirt, Warehouse, H&M, Topshop, Fashion, Fashion Blogger
Coat: Warehouse
Cardigan: H&M
Shirt: New Look
Skirt: Zara
Boots: Topshop
Scarf: Primark
Bag: East

Never underestimate a good shirt, and how many outfits you'll be able to style out of it. I've had this New Look spotty shirt for years now, so much so that it actually has a hole in the sleeve that I need to fix. For me, New Look clothes are never really that good quality enough to last but this one has definitely surprised me!

Another surprise is this leather Zara skirt. I've seen a lot of pencil and body-con style leather skirts, but I've never been into those kind of styles, especially for leather fabric. It works for both work and casual outfits too, I'll usually add a shirt for work or a casual t-shirt or jumper for the weekends. But my favourite part is NOT HAVING TO WASH/IRON IT. Is that really bad/lazy of me? Any spills you can just wash away with a damp cloth and it's ready for another wearing. I think you can still get it from Zara, and it comes in an array of colours now too!

What do you think of this outfit?

How To Make Chocolate Macaroons.... sort of

How To Make Macaroons, How To Make Chocolate Macaroons, How To Make, Recipe, Chocolate, Macaroons, Nutella

For a first attempt of macaroons, they're not actually that bad.... They still taste like a macaroon jut don't quite look like one! And I do know what went wrong, so I'll make sure to point out my failings in the recipe.

The recipe I used was one from the Nutella recipe book, so if you're not all chocolated out from Easter already then here's a bit more chocolate for you! If you're fed up of chocolate, the recipe can easily be adapted to change to raspberry, strawberry or any kind of macaroon flavour you fancy.

Ingredients you'll need to make 40 small macaroons:
6 egg whites
260g icing sugar
240g ground almonds
30g cocoa powder
200g caster sugar
Nutella to ice

Step 1
Beat the egg whites in a bowl. IMPORTANT: Make sure the bowl isn't greasy and doesn't have any flour or sugar bits as the egg whites won't beat together! When they start to become more meringue like, add the sugar gradually and continue beating until it is stiff.

Step 2
In another bowl, sieve and combine the icing sugar, ground almonds and cocoa powder together. Make sure they're sieved together properly, otherwise it'll cause lumpy macaroons!

Step 3
Fold the sieved ingredients in with the egg whites and sugar mixture gradually. Use large and gentle movements for about 2 minutes or until it's all combined.

Step 4
Cover a tray with a baking sheet and pipe on small macaroon-sized circles with the mixture. Tip: Make sure the macaroons are flat and round, rather than pipped with a swirl on top! Then set aside for 20 minutes in a dry place until a crust forms on the surface.

Step 5
Put the macaroons in a preheated oven at 140° and bake for 10-15 minutes, checking at 5 minute intervals.

Step 6
Once cooked, leave the macaroons to cool for 5-10 minutes then remove from the baking sheet. When cold, spread a good layer of Nutella and sandwich together with another half and voila!

So the mistakes I had was I didn't sieve the dry ingredients first, didn't flatten them into a circle once piped and probably should've left them in the oven for another few minutes. But overall I was pretty impressed with my first attempt and glad they were at least edible!

Have you tried making macaroons before?

OOTD: Grey Roll Neck and Checked Skirt

Coat: Warehouse
Jumper and Scarf: Primark
Skirt: New Look
Shoes: Topshop
Bag: River Island

I like this outfit because 1. I get another excuse to wear a roll neck jumper and 2. because this skirt hasn't seen the light of day since 2014 and I totally forgot I had it. In no way am I a fashion blogger or expert, but I'd say this is pretty on trend for a/w15, no? Either way this bargain roll neck jumper from Primark was a good find to keep me warm and cosy now!

Strangely enough, I do love this white coat now - initially being a little unsure of it/worried I will definitely spill something bright orange down the front. It has become fairly worn and a lot of my scarf has malted off onto the coat, so it'll have to be dry cleaned soon. Maybe it'll come back bright gleaming white.

What do you think of this outfit? Do you love or hate white coats?

Last Minute Easter Gifts

Baking with Mary Berry/ Hotel Chocolat Egg on Toast Lick/ Hotel Chocolat Raspberry Chocolate Egglets/ Not On The High Street Personlised 'Easter Bunny' Mug/ Tiger Tray Set/ Lush Funky Bunny Gift Set

I love giving gifts at Easter time! There's so many different bunny and chick themed gifts to choose from nowadays, you can find something for everyone. I've picked out a few gifts from my favourite shops, which'll hopefully inspire you if you're struggling to find gifts.

1. Baking with Mary Berry £12.12 from Amazon. Easter is the perfect time for baking and trying something new! Mary Berry is the queen of baking any delicious and homemade-y, so I'm sure there will be lots of ideas in here. This would be perfect for any avid baker or Bake Off fan!

2. Egg On Toast Lick £1.95 from Hotel Chocolat. Not only do they taste fab, but it's fun too! If there's someone who doesn't like a lot of chocolate, this is the perfect mini gift.

3. Raspberry Chocolate Egglets £5.50 from Hotel Chocolat. Another thing Hotel Chocolat are amazing at, is their fruit chocolate. Each bag contains 8 egglets with pressed rasberry filling blended with white chocolate and sealed with milk chocolate. Ideal for any fruit chocolate lover!

4. Personlised 'Easter Bunny' Mug £9.99 from Not On The High Street. Because who wouldn't like a mug that says 'some bunny loves you *insert name*?!' Not On The High Street is fast becoming one of my favourite places to shop for gifts, especially as you can personlise them!

5. Tray Set £5 from Tiger. If in doubt, go to Tiger. For those really difficult to buy for people, I always manage to find something in Tiger. Their stock switches around every week and they always have the best dupes for  homeware trends. The Easter stock is in cute pastel shades this year.

6. Funky Bunny Gift Set £14.95 from Lush. For those who would much rather a beauty pamper than a chocolate eating feast, Lush always have the best beauty sets to shop! The Funky Bunny Gift Set includes Pink, Orange and Purple fruit FUN bars and  Let Bouncy Bunny shower jelly.

What will you be gifting this Easter?

Instagram: Easter, Flowers and Spring

This Instagram is a very spring themed post! But with Easter just a few days away and FINALLY seeing a bit of sun, I'm in the mood for everything spring. And of course a four day weekend.

Fortnum & Mason Easter Window, Easter, Fortnum & Mason, Easter Sunday, Easter Eggs, London

The Fortnum & Mason window is always an attraction to see - even better than what's inside sometimes! Their Easter one is a particular favourite of mine. Look how colourful that chicken is! And the fact that it's layering gold chocolate eggs makes me want it even more...

Mansfield Park by Jane Austen, Jane Austen, Mansfield Park, Book, Read, One Line A Day, Diary

This month I've been trying to read Mansfield Park by Jane Austen, but the problem I've been having is that I'm always so tired by the time I get into bed that I can't concentrate enough to read! Hopefully next Easter weekend I'll be able to get some reading time in.

Green Park in Spring, Daffodils, Spring, Sun, Sunshine, Green Park, London

Everyday I walk through Green Park and last week I couldn't miss this sunny photo opportunity! If you see me puffing up the hill at around 8ish during the week, say hi and give me a pat on the back (the hill is REALLY big!)

OOTD, Outfit, Primark, Dress, Grey, Primark Dress, Fashion, fblogger, Fashion blogger

I uploaded this OOTD last week, and have already worn the exact same style twice since. Because I'm always so cold, this Primark (yes really!) dress keeps me warm from my neck down to my knees! Read the OOTD post here

Pink Gebera, Flower, Pink, Pink Flower,

Our house is filled with plants and flowers, but it's always the bright yellow or pink flowers that make it into my room to cheer me up! These gerberas are currently in my room and are SO pretty. Usually I'm not a pink girly girly, but I guess it's the spring coming out of me...

OOTD: Grey Swing Dress and Knee High Boots

OOTD, Outfit, Primark, Dress, Grey Dress, Warehouse, New Look, ASOS, Bag
Coat: Warehouse
Dress and Scarf: Primark
Boots: New Look
Necklace: Topshop

You know those dresses that you can just twirl around for ages in? This is one of them. Besides delighting my inner child, it's long sleeved, grey flecked and finely knitted so keeps me super warm! I love those dresses where you can just throw them on, add a necklace and shoes and you're good to go. Usually I try to lay my clothes out the night before (and it even goes to the extent of checking the weather before to work out what shoes to wear too!) but these types of dresses are ideal for morning rushes.

We'll have to say RIP to this backpack. A few months ago it either ripped or was cut by the strap on the bottom and even though I've tried patching it up a few times, it's finally on its way out. I have ordered another bag from ASOS but this time more structured and made from stronger fabric, so fingers crossed this one will last more than 6 months!

What do you think of this outfit? What are your favourite dress styles?

Beauty Skincare Empties

Beauty Empties, Beauty Skincare Empties, Beauty Bodycare Empties, Liz Earle Cleanser, Clarins Hand and Nail Cream, bareMinerals Night Serum, Rodial Dragon's Bloos Sculpting Gel, Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod Body Lotions, beauty, bloggers

I don't think I've ever written a beauty empties post - probably because I never actually manage to finish anything properly! There's tons of half finished tubs of face creams and tubes of face masks underneath my bed because I am so fussy when it comes to skincare.

Saying that, I managed to finish 6 products in one month! That's a definite record for me. They're all skincare or bodycare products that I really enjoyed using and will more than likely purchase again - once I've finished all the other products I have!

Beauty Skincare Empties, Beauty Bodycare Empties, Liz Earle, Liz Earle Cleanser, Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, Liz Earle, cleanser, skincare, beauty, bloggers

Any beauty blogger worth their salt will have heard or read a review on this cleanser. I received it for Christmas in 2014 and have used it each evening as my second cleanse, along with a muslin cloth. It's ideal for dry and sensitive skin types, as it's a creamy formula with essential oils which sooth irritated skin. If I'm having a stressful day, one deep breath from this cleanser instantly relaxes me! I've written a more in depth review here on the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser if you want to read my thoughts on it. Definitely one to repurchase in the future!

Beauty skincare empties, beauty bodycare empties, Clarins, Clarins Hand Cream, Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream, Hand Cream, Nail Cream, beauty, skincare, bloggers

I've kept this little tube next to my bed and applied a bean sized amount each evening before going to bed, and my hands have been so much better for it! My hands tend to get quite dry around my knuckles and where I wear my rings, but a little bit of this goes a long way. I can't quite describe the scent of it, but if 'skincare' was a smell to go by, this would be it! For those who hate greasy hands after applying a cream, I'd 100% recommend Clarins Hand and Nail Cream, it may be a little expensive compared to other hand creams but it does wonders for dry hands and doesn't leave them feeling too greasy.

Beauty Skincare Empties, Beauty Bodycare Empties, bareMinerals, bareMinerals Serum, bareMinerals Active Cell Renewal Night Serum, night serum, serum, skincare, beauty, bloggers

I think I got this serum as part of a pack for Christmas 2014 also - and I was so sad when it was finished! Serums aren't something I include in my every day skincare routine, but probably should be. The bareMinerals Active Cell Renewal Night Serum most likely wasn't targeted for my skin, but I found it worked brilliant on blemishes and didn't leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy. There was one major problem last year when I managed to spill some, so now I am more careful with bottle serums! I wouldn't re-purchase this serum again, mainly because it's not suited to my skin type but it was lovely overall.

Beauty Skincare Empties, Beauty Bodycare Empties, Rodial, Rodial Dragon's Blood, Rodial Dragon's Blood Sculpting Gel, Dragon's Blood, Skincare, dry skin, beauty, blogger

If it wasn't for the crazy expensive price and the fact that I have 7 x unopened face creams to use, I would be repurchasing the Rodial Dragon's Blood Sculpting Gel. When my skin was going through a major dry patch at the beginning of the year, this product helped sooth the really stubborn dry areas. I love the packaging too as you have a push button to squirt out the product and as it works on a suction pump, it gets every last bit out! One to try out if you get dry skin and fancy treating yourself, or try the budget friendly Nip+Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Serum (they're under the same company, just Rodial use higher quality and more clinically proven ingredients.)

Beauty Skincare Empties, Beauty Bodycare Empties, Molton Brown, Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod, Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod Body Lotion, Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod Nourishing Body Lotion, Beauty, blogger

Last but not least, another Christmas 2015 present! All my family know that Pink Pepperpod from Molton Brown is my favourite scent. It's a mixture of musky and floral notes, so not everyone will like it, but Molton Brown have tons of other scents too. It's one of the luxury products that I'll probably continue to indulge in, as well as expanding my collection into body washes! It's suitable for all skin types, but not particularly hydrating for really dry skin. Molton Brown are available in Boots and do have stores in the UK, so go in to check them out - even if it is just to smell all the products!

Have you tried any of these products before? What are your beauty empties this month?

Instagram: Spring, Announcements and Cakes

This week has been slightly busy and mad as usual, but it's ending on a good note. The weather is finally warming up, I managed to wake up before 7:30 on a Sunday to go for a run and I'll be stuffing my face with a roast dinner today to make up for the exercise!

So you're probably wondering why I have a picture of a box with tissue paper, well.... my sister got engaged last month and she asked me to be her bridesmaid! She asked me in a super cute and totally-my-sister-style, by sending me a box with a balloon and note saying 'pop me' inside. In the balloon was tons of love heart confetti and a note saying 'Rhiannon, will you be my bridesmaid?' I'm so excited to start getting ready for the wedding and be a bridesmaid! Any wedding style tips or blogs you know of, put the links below.

As always, I posted a new OOTD on here last Thursday. This time with my current favourite denim dress and roll neck top. Not something I would've thought would've gone together, but I love it! The dress was from the Miss Selfridge New Year Sale and was such a bargain. I'll definitely be featuring it in future outfits.

If I could wear one outfit over and over again, this would be it. I never thought a denim dress would fit the bill, but the roll neck jumper is a new favourite of mine. Because it's been so cold, the knee high socks and huge coat and scarf are needed, needless to say I was very cosy in this outfit.

It's weird that ever since I've started working full time, less and less of my outfits feature jeans. Once I used to never be without them and always pairing them with a shirt, but I've fallen in love again with dresses and skirts. Although I've incorporated some type of denim with this dress!

Are you a jeans or a dresses and skirt person?

My Face Mask Collection

Face Mask, Face Mask Collection, U-Mask, Sheet Mask, Superdrug Face Mask, Superdrug Fruit Face Mask, SuperFacialist by Una Brennan, Tea Flower Mask, Tea Tree Mask, Origins, Origins Face Mask, Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask,

If there's a spare few minutes in the evening to pamper myself, I'll always opt for a face mask. They're super easy to use, take only a few minutes and the results are instant. I usually look for a face mask with can help with my dry skin areas, sooth red skin and blemishes and minimize pores. I've picked out my current favourites to share, so I hope you enjoy!

Face Mask, Face Mask Collection, U-Mask, Sheet Mask, Superdrug Face Mask, Superdrug Fruit Face Mask, SuperFacialist by Una Brennan, Tea Flower Mask, Tea Tree Mask, Origins, Origins Face Mask, Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask,

Although sheet masks are sometimes the most difficult to use, the ones I've tried work so well and fast on my skin. I picked up U Mask 3 in 1 Face Sheets when I was in Asia last year and now have a stack full! The 3 in 1 process includes a toner, sheet mask and moisturiser, which you get a lot of from each. So far I've tried an Acne Soothing Mask and Ultra Hydrating Mask.

The Superdrug Deep Cleansing Fruit Mask is my all-time favourite mask. Even though you can't get it anymore (sad times!) I've stocked up on a few! It includes Raspberry, Blueberry and Cranberry, combined with Peach Oil to hydrate and brighten skin. I'll usually try this one a week and keep the leftovers wrapped up in clingfilm to stop it from drying out.

Face Mask, Face Mask Collection, U-Mask, Sheet Mask, Superdrug Face Mask, Superdrug Fruit Face Mask, SuperFacialist by Una Brennan, Tea Flower Mask, Tea Tree Mask, Origins, Origins Face Mask, Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask,

The SuperFacialist Tea Flower Clay Mask by Una Brennan works the best across my t-zone. I'll just add a thin-ish layer across my nose, chin and forehead and leave it to dry for 10 minutes. I love how quickly it works to declog my pores, and I'll usually do a deep cleanse afterwards to clear out everything!

When my skin is feeling super dry, the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask comes to the rescue! I'll just add a thin layer across my skin and leave overnight for super hydrated skin the next morning. Plus it smells so delicious and fruity!

What's your favourite face mask?

Winter Primark and Pull & Bear Haul

Even though I have a wardrobe full of winter clothes, January pay day came around and Primark was calling again. I popped down to Brighton on weekend with a friend and spent a little retail therapy...

Winter Primark and Pull & Bear Haul, Fashion, Blog, Blogger, Grey, Dress, Grey Dress, Grey Roll Neck Dress,
Primark Grey Roll Neck Knit Dress £10

First up is my favourite pick of the bunch! It may seem really simple, and it is, but it's such a versatile piece for work and casual weekends. The material is a very fine knit and I usually wear a long sleeved top underneath as I am always so cold! It has a slight roll neck at the top and is very stretchy and cosy. I've been wearing this with a pair of black knee high boots, statement necklace and leather jacket - simple and easy!

Winter Primark and Pull & Bear Haul, Grey, Roll Neck, Jumper, Charcoal, Grey Roll Neck Jumper, Primark,
Primark Grey/Charcoal Roll Neck Jumper £8

So I only managed to buy two roll neck style jumpers from Primark - quite an accomplishment I would say! Again this is a fairly thin knit in a dark grey/charcoal fleck style which I'll usually where a long sleeved top underneath. I'll be wearing this tucked into skirts, with high waisted jeans and underneath dresses too. There was a slight grey roll neck theme going on in Primark...

Winter Primark and Pull & Bear Haul, Primark, Burgundy, Top, Blouse, Sheer, Top, Fashion, Blog, Blogger
Primark Burgundy Sheer Top £10

Now looking through these photos I can see my haul isn't that exciting! I picked up this top as another basic to add to my work wardrobe, as I love burgundy colours during autumn and winter. I've already worn this for a work event with a plain necklace and blazer, but I'll definitely be trying it with my leather skirt and textured cardigans! It is fairly sheer so you'll need to wear a black or dark coloured top underneath but that's no problem with me!! Although I did see someone double my age wearing the same top the other day...

Winter Primark and Pull & Bear Haul, Trousers, Blue Tile Print, Summer Trousers, Fashion, Blog, Blogger,
Primark Blue Tile Trousers £8

So you'll have to excuse the creases in these trousers! Why do I always manage to pick up clothes which will crease to no end?! These Primark trousers are linen fabric with a blue tile print all over and a black and grey tile print stripe down the side. I'm hoping for a hot summer this year (fingers crossed!) but if not this will work great for work and summer city breaks!

Winter Primark and Pull & Bear Haul, Fashion, Blog, Blogger, Love, Love Heart Shirt, Pull & Bear, Haul,

Winter Primark and Pull & Bear Haul, Fashion, Blog, Blogger, Love, Love Heart Shirt, Pull & Bear, Haul,

Last part of my haul is from Pull & Bear - a shop I always manage to find a few things in!! Their shirts are my favourite and I have a swallow print shirt on my wishlist already... Again super creasy and light but I have already worn this with a red cardigan for Valentine's Day and can imagine wearing it a lot during the summer too as it's super light. I adore the print too as it's not just hearts but hearts with little wings too - I'd definitely recommend having a look at Pull & Bear for fab clothes at good prices.

Have you done a haul recently? What's your favourite purchase?

Beginner's Blogging Series: Organisation

So this is the last post in my Beginner's Blogging Series! It's been so fun to write these posts and great to see so many people enjoying them too - hopefully more ideas like this to come in the future! Catch up with my Beginner's Blogging Series: Tracking, Photos, Social Media and Post Inspiration.

Beginner's Blogging Series Organisation, Organize, Organise, Organization, Blogging, Blogger, Advice, Tips, Notebook, Pens, App, Lists, To-Do, Calendar,

If there's one aspect of blogging I'm actually good at, it'll be organisation! I'm obsessed with writing lists (yes I am still old school and actually write lists...) then ticking off each task once it's been done. Because I work full time and have about two hours of free time each evening during the week, being productive and organised with my blog at the weekend is crucial. I'm sure these tips may not be new to you and it'll probably show up how much of an organised person I am, but I do hope it inspires you to be more organised!

Beginner's Blogging Series Organisation, Organize, Organise, Organization, Blogging, Blogger, Advice, Tips, Notebook, Pens, App, Lists, To-Do, Calendar,

First up is Calendars. I couldn't now work without my monthly content calendar - it keeps me on track when writing and gives me an idea of where my blog is going this week. When I was at school and college I would post most days spontaneously, but now my free time is limited scheduling my posts in advance helps keep my blog fresh with content every week.

I use free calendars from Calendar Craze and just print off a calendar each month then write new posts in every week. As I'm sure most bloggers do, I follow a pattern of OOTD's every Thursday, some sort of lifestyle post on a Sunday then a beauty or review post on Tuesdays and Saturdays - it helps to stick to a content theme so your readers know what to expect, but spontaneity is exciting and fun for your readers too! Once I have a post idea I write them in green pen on the publish day, then underneath a pink W for when I have written it, a purple P for when I have taken the photos and a blue S for when I have scheduled in the social media posts - might seem a little crazy organised but that way you won't forget anything!

Beginner's Blogging Series Organisation, Organize, Organise, Organization, Blogging, Blogger, Advice, Tips, Notebook, Pens, App, Lists, To-Do, Calendar,

I wouldn't be anywhere writing my blog without my notebook. The notebook and pens were a Christmas gift from my family, the notebook is from Laura Ashley and the pens are from Paperchase. I leave both on the bedside table, so when I'm having a evening brainstorm I can write down a few blog post ideas. I'll also write down my OOTD's from the week so I can then bulk photograph them at the weekend when it's light (although I am looking forward to lighter evenings!). Sometimes I write to-do lists in their too and any other little notes like my travel plans for the year and just general ideas.

I'd really recommend getting a notebook for new bloggers, they're helpful for writing down ideas and inspirations from other bloggers. I also have a page in the back of the book of Twitter chat timings, so if I do find a spare hour one evening I can see what's going on with bloggers on Twitter. Paperchase have gorgeous books, Kikki K have a great selection too and TK Maxx always surprises me with their variety!

Because sometimes I am just too lazy to look at my notebook to-do list, I do have the Wunderlist app on my phone. I adore this app because you can set yourself deadline dates, so you won't miss what you need to do! It's also a great app for keeping track of particular blogger chats as you can set a reminder for you too. It's still a fairly new app for me, but I'm slowly beginning to use it for everyday to-do lists too. And you'll always get a satisfying feeling of the 'ting' sound when you tick another to-do off!

How do you stay organise on your blog? What are your top tips?
