Beginner's Blogging Series: Post Inspiration

First off, thank you so much for all the lovely comments on my Social MediaPhotos and Tracking posts - it means so much to me! Next up is Post Inspiration. There's been so many times when I've been sat at this computer blank and without any ideas flowing, so I thought I'd show you where I get my blog inspiration.

Magazines and News - If I read an article on an interesting topic, I'll feature it on my blog and add my own twist and opinion on it. When the controversial 'tampon tax' came into the news, I posted about the facts and my opinion on the whole debate. Choose something that is topical and something that you know your audience will be able to relate to. It makes your blog stand out and show that your posts are versatile!

Bloggers - I get a ton of inspiration from other bloggers! Whether it's inspiring a new OOTD, a themed tips post or a beauty favourites, bloggers are a creative bunch and it's not wrong to feel inspired by someone's post, as long as you are not copying it word for word as this would be a copyright breach. If you see someone's post that you like, add it to your saved posts on Bloglovin' or put pen to paper and write down why that post inspired you.

Travelling and Experiences - Been somewhere on holiday recently or visited that museum? Write a blog post about it! I'll guarantee someone will find your post helpful and hopefully inspire them to visit or travel to where you did. Collate your post into a photo diary, add your best travelling tips or recommend the go-places.

Favourites and Flashbacks - These types of posts are my fall-back when I'm lacking inspiration! Favourites are, funnily enough, my favourite types because I've got tons of beauty and fashion favourites. The above is my extensive lip balm collection, which some may think is a little excessive! Share your favourite mascaras, eyeshadows or shirt collection. Flashbacks are always a great post for when you're lacking inspiration, if you have a favourite post that your readers love, flashback to it and add an update to it!

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I hope you feel inspired by this post! Catch up on my Beginner's Blogging Series: Tracking, Photos and Social Media.
