5 Ways To Save Money On Christmas Presents

5 Ways To Save Money On Christmas Presents Vouchers Online Shopping Points

It's that spendy time of year again, the season for giving and receiving but also a great time to grab a deal! I'm much more quality over quantity when it comes to Christmas or Birthday presents and over the years I've worked out a good system for getting the most out of my presents and cash.

Saving money doesn't mean that your present isn't worth any more than it would be at full price, just that you're being price and money savvy!

  1. Shop the offers. You know the famous Boots 3 for 2 present sticker? Stock up on mini stocking fillers and make sure you're getting the most out of your money i.e. two items that are £12 and £8, try and get your third free item for around £7 to make the most of it.
  2. Try online. More and more people are choosing to avoid the crowds and shop online instead, and I don't blame them! This week is Black Friday and Cyber Monday, two American-style sales days but also perfect for grabbing a bargain. Alternative, just Google of 'Topshop Discount Code' and I bet there will be more than one to choose from.
  3. Spend your points. Stop saving your Boots or Tesco Clubcard points and spend them on Christmas presents instead! I stock up on my Boots points to spend around Christmas time, saving me money. Tesco Clubcard are a great way to buy and save money on presents. Hint: Try shopping when their Boost is on to get double of your points worth!
  4. Set a price limit. Between friends or family, setting a price limit is a good way to make sure you don't over or under spend on your presents - and it sets you a challenge too.
  5. Do the alphabet presents. This is something I picked up from a family friend, where every year a letter is picked out of the alphabet and everyone picks a name out to buy a present for with the letter that's under £15. There's the tricky X and Z but it's a great way to really think about what present to give, as well as saving money.
What are your best tips for saving money on Christmas presents?
