The Glamour Beauty Power List 2015

Usually I'm not one for the beauty boxes. I've tried various ones but always end up with products I either don't like or won't ever use. Thankfully The Glamour Beauty Power List 2015 has a ton of products that I will use and ones that I'd never even think about trying before - but I guess that's why these beauty boxes work so well!

Originally when I saw this was included in the box, I was intrigued to see whether it would actually work with my skin. I do find these 'Sleeping Creams' and 'Sleeping Masks' a little bit gimicky, but I do love the texture of them! Almost like soft playdo, it melts into my skin like a dream and doesn't like it feeling sticky. It has a fab refreshing fruity smell and actually makes my skin look less tired and rundown the morning after!

I can't say too much about this as I've only used a few times, out of the fear of waking up with a bright orange face to match my hair. It has an odd smell which I can't quite put my finger on - ginger maybe?!

I just use this after my normal night time moisturiser, using a bean sized amount all across my face and making sure it's even (I don't quite fancy those streaky marks...) Saying that, the colour is very subtle which suits me just fine! There is a slight colour which is very natural and creates a healthy colour instead of my usual yellow and tried shade!

Now I've heard of masks for after using shampoo, but never before using shampoo. Simply wet your hair, add a good amount into the hair then cover with a plastic cap for 10-20 minutes before washing off. Personally I thought it was a lot of faff at first, then after blow-drying my hair I realise why people rave about it. My hair was so soft that it was almost an excuse to brush it again so I could just run my hands through its silkyness - is that weird?!

Mini makeup? As if I could resist. Eyeko have been on my 'to try' list for sometime now, as it's a brand I've seen many people raving about before. As the name suggests, it adds a bloomin' good curl to my lashes (even without eyelash curlers) and doesn't end up all clumpy. Only downside is that it can transfer and drop after 6+ hours but that doesn't bother me too much. I also love the packaging because the squeezy tube means you can get all the little bits out without wasting any!

Again, I thought this would be slightly gimicky but turns out this base coat beats all the others I've tried. Glides on super easy, even with a smallish brush and doesn't budge! Fab thing is when taking off my nail polish, it hasn't stained my nails!

Speaking of amazing nail polish brushes... the Rita Ora collection for Rimmel London do the perfect size brush for my nails (not too big and not too small!) The colour is a sugary pink, which is quite refreshing to break up from the dark navy and burgundy I wear during the autumn and winter. In terms of chipping, it doesn't last long without a top coat but can get me through the week with no major nail catastrophe.

I thought I'd combine these two, as I've swatched them together and this post is getting fairly long! Red lipstick isn't usually my safe territory, but to get into the festive season (I can officially talk about it now!) I've been trying it out. At first I didn't wear a lip liner, but soon realised my mistake. It packs an amazing colour in just one swipe and smells sweet of iced buns! Colour pay off is fab and I can't really fault it.

Another scary colour is the Kiko Stick Blush. Anything that makes my life easier and quicker in the mornings gets a big thumbs up from me. I just dab this onto my cheeks, blend it in with my fingers and volia I am ready! You do have to be really gently with this blush, otherwise you can come out looking like a blushing Barbie Doll.

There's still a few available for just £18.99, worth £92.87! Shop here.
