This Month I...

See, I am sticking to this monthly review schedule! Albeit it is a few days late, but you can't have everything. July was officially my birthday month and was so jammed packed with seeing friends and exploring new places, that I still have a massive to-do list to tick off in August! See what I got up to in June here.

This Month I... was treated to an extra special birthday cake! I've shared a few of my big sister's amazing cake creations before, but this one is definitely one of my favourites. Deliciously sweet butter icing on the outside and a yummy raspberry Victoria Sandwich in the middle, with light and fluffy meringues on top. Of course I had to share it with my family, otherwise that would've been a little mean to keep it all for myself...

This Month I... bought and caved in to the Z for Accessorize Collection! All the pieces are made from semi-precious stones and are so beautifully delicate, with the majority of the range gold plated featuring turquoise blues and baby pinks. Usually gold plated isn't my style but recently they've introduced a small line of silver jewellery which is right up my street. The stone is Aqua Chalcedony and is silver plated, so make sure you keep an eye out for it!

The Little Coffee Shop Of Kabul By Deborah Rodriguez

Another Way To Fall By Amanda Brooke

This Month I... read a few new books! I got through so many good reads this month and finished three books, where as usually it would take me a month to finish one. Ones I'd definitely recommend are The Little Coffee Shop of Kabul By Deborah Rodriguez (review here) and Another Way To Fall by Amanda Brooke (review here) - they're both different to usual chic lit or anything else I've read actually.

Citadel Festival 2015 London

This Month I... watched Bombay Bicycle Club and Ben Howard at Citadel 2015 Festival, possibly my highlight of the month. I loved this festival so much, there was tons to do from arts and crafts tents, sport day activities and exercise masterclasses to comedy tents, key journalist speakers and of course, awesome music. I spent the day with one of my best friends, which makes it so much more fun! Definitely one to bookmark next year and it's in central London too!

What's been your July highlight? Have you got any favourite moments?

Thanks for reading!
