They see me haulin'....

Fashion Haul H&M ASOS Primark New Look Warehouse Accessorize Clothes

Rather than the usual 'Fashion Haul' post title, I thought I'd shake things up a bit. Although it's cringe to say out loud because I'm a stereotypical pale British girl.... Onto what I've been spending this month!

The Basics

You know when you have your favourite white t-shirt then it comes back all bobbly after a few washes? Mine have pretty much gone past that, so I knew it was time for a trip to H&M for a few basics.

If you're ever on a budget and need those key basic pieces, then H&M is the one I'd recommend. I picked up a white and black scoop neck t-shirts and also a super creasy white v-neck t-shirt. I manage to go through so many plain t-shirts as they've my favourites to tuck into skirts and pair with patterned trousers (see below).

Along the same lines as my t-shirts, my basic black blazer was looking a bit sad and old. It was almost like fate, but I couldn't find a size 8 plain black blazer any where until I found this one randomly hanging on the end of some jeans. It's almost like it was meant to be, right?

The Patterned Trousers

I'm not normally one for a pair of pattern trousers (give me black skinny jeans any day!) but I was drawn to these flower print pair in Primark. I'm very into monochrome at the moment, so I've been wearing this pair with a white jumper and black pointed flats and just love it.

Venturing out of my black skinny jean comfort circle, I'll definitely be trying a few more patterned pairs in the future!

The Beach Edit

So I'm off on my holibobs soon and was in desperate need of a new bikini. Something that isn't too expensive but will last for more than one holiday. I spotted this bandeau and high-waisted pair from Warehouse on ASOS and prayed that they had my size (they did!) and then a new love story started.

Similar to my bikini search, my old flip flops were more of a flop now. Accessorize, in my opinion, do the best flip flops - always long lasting, great quality and comfortable. I found this pair in the sale and have since been wearing them non stop around the house.

The Winter Shoes

It's kind of ironic that I'm talking about boots and plimsolls when I took these photos in 30 degree heat. But I find the summer sales are the best time to get new boots! Obviously no one is really thinking about buying new boots in July, so when I found this pair in New Look, size five, wide fit and real leather = fate.

Maybe I'm on a bargain sale finds roll, but these ASOS leopard print plimsolls were also a great find. Just £12, I found my size and a new pair of shoes that I can actually wear to work. I've worn this pair to almost death, so I knew it was time to invest in a new pair!

The British Weather Buy

Again, you're probably thinking "Why has she bought an umbrella in August? And why is she blogging about it?!" I ask, have you seen the weather recently?

Primark umbrellas have been letting me down recently, breaking all over the place and just one big faff. I spotted this Totes umbrella in Boots, whilst there was a full on downpour outside, again, fate! It's easy to open and close (nothing dodgy about this umbrella!) and it has a super pretty blue floral print that might actually make me feel better about the rain.

But the best bit is the size, it's tiny. Even smaller than my purse, so much so that it actually gets lost in my bag. Umbrella rant/appreciation over.

What's been your best buy this month? Have you found any sale gems?

Thanks for reading!
