Review: Korres Lip Butters and CC Cream

Last week I reviewed the new Korres Water Lilly bodycare collection, and this week it's the turn of their amazing Lip Butters and new CC Cream! The lovely guys at Korres PR asked if I'd like to try out a few of their latest makeup additions, and of course it would've been rude not to.

First up is the new Wild Rose Colour Correcting Cream, a gorgeous CC cream with added SPF30. Almost all my foundations have a SPF as my skin is super pale and sensitive that even the British 'summer' can cause sunburn and irritation. So an added SPF in my foundation is a perfect addition! The small size also means it's great for taking on holiday too.

The colour itself is a great match, like I said I'm fairly pale and the light shade suited my complexion perfectly. It almost moulded itself to my skin tone, as I blended it in with my favourite Real Techniques Buffing Brush. It's also fairly glowy and moisturising because of the rose properties. Because of the added SPF, I find the consistency quite thick which doesn't bother me too much, you just need to spend an extra few seconds blending!

As it's from the Wild Rose collection, it has a light floral scent which I think is just lovely. So refreshing in the morning! The only problem I had with this is that I suffered from a few breakouts after using this. Obviously it could've been multiple things that set my spots off, so who knows.

On to my favourite products! I much prefer a tinted lip butter for during the day, rather than a full on lipstick as it's hassle free and easy to apply. The above picture shows, from lightest to darkest, Jasmine, Pomegranate, Quince and Wild Rose Lip Butters.

These mini lip butters are perfect for throwing in your bag and touching up on the go, I usually end up with all of them in my bag as I just can't decide! My current favourites are Pomegranate and Quince, besides the delicious scents, they both have a beautiful colour pay off and really moisturise my lips without clinging to dry patches.

The added Shea Butter helps smooths and nourish my lips and with just a small amount, I had glossy and tinted lips. I've got my eye on the Mango and Guava lip butters - I bet they smell just as good.

Have you tried any Korres products? What do you think of their Lip Butters and CC Cream?

Thanks for reading!
