So I've got a wedding to go to in two weeks time, and basically have nothing in my wardrobe that would be suitable, until I found this! I adore colbat blue, it's such a wearable colour and great for work too. Even though I'm not crazy on the cut-out back, the darts on the front make it super flattering and the high neckline makes it look more classy. I'll probably style this with black tights, pumps, a white or black blazer and statment necklace - please let me know what you think I should wear this with!
As if I could resist this dress?! Unfortunately my love for a grey/white/black palette has not changed with the spring weather. It's a gorgeous silk and light material that makes it great for spring and summer, plus it's long enough to wear to work without looking like I'm from the Victorina era or wearing not much at all. My love for shirts have slowly spread into shirt dresses and I adore the drawstring waist too - I hate anything too constricting!
Primark Shoes: £6
I'm still slightly undecided about these shoes, but they were too pretty not to pick up. I managed to find a grey pair in my size without any black marks or scratches (definitely winning.) Although my big wide feet hate pointy shoes, these don't rub because of the super soft suede fabric. They'll be a smarter alternative to sandals in the summer, and the dove grey shade means they'll go with most of my work wardrobe!
Primark Shoes: £10
Whilst rummaging around for the grey pointy shoes, these caught my eye.
Gladiator with a pointed toe isn't something I've seen before, so I had
to try them on. Once on they're so comfortable and easy to walk in.
Again, my wide feet don't appreciate the crammed toe area, but there's
plenty of room. Both pairs are slightly growing on me, but I think the
warmer weather will definitely put them to the test!
What have you been hauling recently?
Thanks for reading!
