Review MAC Fleur Power Satin Finish Powder Blush

MAC Fleur Power Satin Finish Powder Blush Review

There's nothing better than adding a pop of colour to your cheeks with a pretty blush. My parents brought this blusher back from holiday as a present for me. And they did pick well!

Fleur Power is a light pink/coral shade with more orange undertones rather than pink or plum. The photos come up in a light pink, but in reality it's a lot more coral toned. I'll apply this with either the Body Shop Blusher Brush or Nic's Picks Cheek Brush a.k.a the best brush in the whole world, focusing on the apples of my cheeks and across the rest of my cheek bones.

The formula is satin, so there's no shimmer or mattifying effect. It is literally so soft, and coupled with the uber gentle brushes it's like sweeping a cloud across your face. Or at least that's what I think it would feel like! It's an ideal shade for fair skin, but I reckon it'll be gorgeous in the summer with a tan.

In short, for my first MAC Blusher, I'm pretty impressed. The shade is perfect for my skin and it doesn't leave me looking like a scary doll or that your cousin has played dress up with you. I'd totally recommend this shade for beginners with pale skin for a first make up kit.

What do you think of this blusher? Have you for a favourite MAC blusher?
