Christmas: Lifestyle and Odds and Ends Presents 2014

Lifestyle and Odds and Ends Christmas Presents 2014

Following on from my Beauty and Fashion Presents, I thought I'd share a few Lifestyle and Odds and Ends gifts! I'm a bit of a stationary geek, mainly notebooks that I don't have much use for. But, hey, a blogger can never have too many notebooks, right?

2015 Diary, Notebook and Address Book Christmas Present
Paperchase 2015 Diary, Owl Notebook and Address Book and Urban Outfitters One Line A Day Diary

The beginning of the year is almost like starting the year at school again. You've got new notebooks, a diary, pens etc. it's all just too exciting. I love the mini size of the diary, as it'll fit perfectly in my bag so I can write in it on my journey's from work. I'll be keeping the One Line A Day Diary at home because it's quite thick and heavy.

Rest assured I don't have a crazy obsession with owls! The purple notebook is perfect for jotting down blog ideas and general musings. And an address book for all those journalistic contacts I'll be using of course!

Girl Online Book by Zoe Sugg and Yankee Candle in Clean Cotton Christmas Presents 2014
Girl Online by Zoe Sugg and Yankee Candle in Clean Cotton

As a curious journalist, I asked for the controversial Girl Online book by Zoe Sugg. I finished it pretty quickly, and even though I wasn't totally blown away by it, I can understand why younger readers may love it. Expect an indepth review to come soon!

My favourite Yankee Candle scent ever! I'm obsessed with the fresh fragrance from clean sheets, so it was a match made in heaven. Those sickly sweet sugary scents are not a fan with me. I don't know whether it's just me or what, but burning a candle just makes me feel more relaxed and calm. Either that or it's just the fumes...

Japanese Themed Christmas Presents 2014

I can't remember whether I've mentioned this, but this March me and my brother are going to Japan for TWO WHOLE WEEKS. Can you tell I'm excited yet?! I adore everything Japanese, whether it be the food, fashion or culture, I can't wait to experience it all.

As part of my trip and obsession, a lovely colleague of mine bought these three thoughtful gifts. The first one is a tin tube with a yummy chocolate bar in, the middle is a handmade cosmetics bag which I'm using to store my hairbrush, mirror, plasters etc. and finally my very own wooden chopsticks! Rather than using disposable ones, I'll be taking these round with me and learning how to use them properly (hopefully!)

Let me know in the comments what you all got for Christmas or link up your posts. I'd love to know what you got!

Thanks you for reading
