Brighton Beauty Haul with Simple, Superdrug, Primark and Clinique

A few weeks ago, I traveled down to sunny Brighton for a general Sunday mooch and, of course, a spot of shopping. It would've been rude not to really! I didn't do a massive shop, just picking up a few of the essentials and a couple of added extras...

Simple Kind To Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser

I've probably harped on about Simple enough, but it's one of my all-time favourite brands which I come back to a lot and use in my daily routine. It's a staple brand that I know won't react badly with my skin and, basically does the job! Superdrug had a 1/3 off all Simple products, and I picked up my favourite Replenishing Rich Moisturiser - which is great for everyday use and perking up my face.

Primark Hairbands
Primark Mixed Black Hairbands £1

I did say it was a basic beauty haul! Can't go wrong with a ton of new hairbands at just a £1. Although most of them will probably end up at the bottom of my bag or somehow, make it to my sister's house... funny how that happens!

Superdrug Face Masks

I adore Superdrug's own face masks. One I always return to is the Deep Cleansing Fruit Mask, that smells gorgeously sweet, but I thought I'd try out the De-Stressing Mud Mask (handy with how crazy work is at the moment!) and Detoxifying Dead Sea Mineral Mask. They're great for a quick pick-me-up and they actually work! So far I've used the Dead Sea Mask and love the lavender scent and super smooth feeling it leaves on my skin.

Primark Rubber Exfoliator

Primark Rubber Exfoliator
Primark Rubber Cleansing Pad £1.50 (I think!)

You might be thinking 'What the hell is this?' well, let me inform you. I'll usually brush by the Primark beauty section, but this little tool grabbed my attention. One side is a 'sucker' pad, so you can attach it to your shower tiles etc. the middle section is a hole for one finger to fit through so you can scrub your face away! It's actually come in quite handy. I'll use this alongside my Simple (again!) Facial Wash, just to awaken my skin and deeply cleanser. It's gentle, but still feels like your giving your skin a deep cleanse and scrub. Perfect addition for the mornings!

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion + £15.75 with 10% Debenhams discount

'Another moisturiser!' I hear you cry? Well, this has been quite a recent discovery and I'm head over heels for it. Designed for Very Dry to Dry Skin (I'd say my skin is between combination and dry) I know this will be my savior for cold winter days! Debenhams has 10% off its beauty counters, so turned out to be cheap than expected and I know this tube will last me a good few months. I usually apply this as my day moisturiser then use my Simple moisturiser at night, just because it's slightly lighter. Perhaps a review to come, if people want to see it?

Nothing too crazy in my Brighton Beauty Haul, just picking up the essentials and a few other bits! What's your favourite beauty buy this month?

Thanks for reading!
