OOTD: White Blazer and Blue Jumper. Plus an Update!

Blazer: ASOS
Jumper and Jeans: H&M
Shoes New Look

My blog has been feeling slightly neglected over the past few days - totally unintentional, of course. Since last week I've celebrated my 19th birthday (Oh how old!), had a job interview, had a job offer, spent my last day at my internship and eaten far too much cake and cheesecake. And not necessarily in that order.

I might put up a 'Birthday Haul' type post, but it's by no means me bragging! I actually spent the day by myself, at my interview and shopping along Oxford Street, which wasn't all that bad! Then I travelled back up to London the day after for a second interview and got a job offer! The job role is E-commerce Marketing Assistant, which sounds pretty fancy, but it's promoting beauty brands online, helping out with copywriting etc. for a company in Soho. I start on the 4th August, so fingers crossed everyone! My last day at my internship was a sad one, I've been there since October, so it was sad to part ways. From today onwards I'll be carrying on at my part time job and just relaxing before I start work in the real world!

This outfit I wore last week just to pop into town, although people may think that wearing a blazer is a bit too fancy! I adore this blazer so much I'm literally never away from it. I can't wait to wear it again this weekend for a belated birthday celebration with my gingham leggings. Ripped jeans and blazers just go so well together, as do brogues, which mixes up the whole smart/casual look.

Phew - that was a BIG post! Just goes to show how quickly things can change over a matter of days. Blogging schedule will resume again, probably until I start my new job, then it might just be a case of me finding the time! It's all looking up now!

Thanks for reading (if you made it this far...) and I hope you're all having a great week!

P.S Just look at the celebration cheesecakes my sister and her boyfriend I posted on Instagram:

I'm going to be so chubbs by the time I get through all these....
