Some people love working out to music and others find it a distraction, I'm firmly in the first camp! In general terms, I can't live without my iPod and music. Even the five minute journey to work isn't the same without the radio or a classic 2000s CD on! And when I'm running, there's nothing better than having a good and motivational playlist to get me going.
With my workout gear, I have a little zip pocket on the back of my leggings which fits my phone, key and much-needed iPod. I don't technically have a 'running playlist' but I do go through my Top 25, because they're obviously songs I like listening to, as well as listening whatever new music I'd recently uploaded. I also do have a few fail-safe albums that I go through when running:
So Long, See You Tomorrow by Bombay Bicycle Club
Opposites by Biffy Clyro
Midnight Memories by One Direction (Saying it loud and proud!)
Ghost Stories by Coldplay
X by Ed Sheeran
Riot by Paramore
There's so many more, but it'll be a very long post to list them all! Anything that's up beat with a rocky-ish edge will always be in my good books. At the moment, I've only got a little bit of space left on my iPod, but any music suggestions, for exercise or not, let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading!
Rhiannon xx
