My Fitness Ethos

My Fitness Ethos with Nike running trainers

Here's my trying-to-be-cool-blogger image! Whenever I do go for a run or walk these are my essentials that I never leave the house without. I don't run because I want to loose weight, mainly because I get bored stuck inside all day and runs keep me awake!

Most of my clothes are from Nike, mainly because their stuff is the best quality I can find, so I know I can trust them, plus my sister's boyfriend gets discount, which is a bonus! Sports bra and leggings are essentials for me and I'll just add a top and then a sweatshirt and gloves for when it gets colder. The sunglasses are helpful for not making contact with passers-by and I literally won't get anywhere without my music! I'll usually chuck it on shuffle and see where it gets me.

It's always better to spend more on footwear than other sports clothing, because it's essential to support your feet! I got the trainers just after Christmas as I had my old pair for about three years, so they were falling apart a bit. They're the Nike Flex Women's Training shoes and my Lord, are they a dream to run in! Super light weight and flexible, I've never had a better running experience than with them. I decided to go with black as I thought they'd keep the dirt off better and they look more sophisticated!

I get most of my inspiration from reading in magazines and newspapers, as well as other bloggers and Pinterest. The articles I keep are just tips on how to stay healthy and any quick bursts of exercises that can help with toning and warm ups etc. But I find it's always handy to keep these sorts of articles, especially when you're in need of motivation!

For me, running is a pleasure, rather than a task, so I think I'm probably the definition of an amature runner! Setting goals sets fear in my stomach, which I really don't need another one of!   1. My Nike trainers are my god send, seriously. They really motivate me to exercise and try harder.
    & yes, iPod is a MUST! So much easier to push harder when you have a good track on!
