60s Gingham Dress

Coat: ASOS
Dress: Primark
Shirt: Republic
Shoes: Internacionale

And she's whacked out the gingham dress again.... This time I popped a sheer shirt underneath, black slipper pumps (which you really can't see....) and my usual coatagain! I wore this to my internship the other day, as I wanted to add a smart-ish twist in comparison to the other day. This pattern is a massive step out of my comfort zone, it's not exactly the most subtle of the pack! But I've fallen in love with 60s shape, so I know it'll be getting a lot of loving over spring. Anything where I get to incorporate another shirt always gets a gold star from me too, I'm literally obsessed with them! This particular one I got years ago in a Republic sale, but is now one of my staple shirts alongside my super smart white shirt.

I wish I could say that my Friday was more exciting than it was, but sometimes it's just great to have some time out? With another portfolio deadline next week, I've been buried away researching and writing up my first draft, whilst also taking the obligatory Youtube break (Seriously watch this and tell me you don't laugh!)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  5. I like this look, I'm so into shirts under dresses right now, but I haven't tried the trend yet. I like the gingham print. That dress is fabulous :) And it's cool to step out of our comfort zone from time to time.
