Burger, Gingham and Girls Talk

Another Instagram round up of the week! And they're going too fast now, can't believe we'll soon be in April! Argggh!

Now, I'm not afraid to say that One Direction are an indulgence, and in Love Heart form, it's two indulgences put together! They weren't actually mine, my 27 year old sister had a One Direction themed birthday with cakes, banners and Love Heart sweets. Some people will just never grow up!

I've already posted a snapshot of my new gingham leggings, and boy are they comfy. Although when I wore them they didn't go exactly to plan (see yesterday's post) I just had to show them off, along with my red nail polish. I've fallen in love with the Rimmel London Salon Pro Nail Colour with lycra, although my particular shade had a massive brush, which was so much easier for applying it, but they don't seem to be selling them now?!

Ooooh, a classic cheese burger from Gourmet Burger Kitchen! This restaurant is seriously the bees knees for when it comes to burgers, like Nandos is famous for its chicken. I know there's only a couple around the country, some in London and up north but its well worth a visit and they do a cheap burger bundle for under £10!

I've been catching the train most days of the week to and from Brighton or London, so I'm used to whiling the time away with a good book or music. But since starting this course the train journey has helped so much with catching up on my work. Last Wednesday I went to an event up in London (see below image!) and from Brighton to London Victoria it took just under an hour, so I used that time wisely and got ahead with my Law homework. Nerd or what.

As I mentioned above I was lucky enough to be picked to attend Go Think Big's Girls Talk event last week. It brought together four panellists, who are all successful in their fields of work, and allowed us to ask them questions about how they got to where they are now and what advice they'd give. I went up on my own (which was absolutely petrifying!) but I met a couple of lovely girls and the whole evening was really inspiring. But more on that in another post!

What's been your highlights this week?
Thanks for reading!
