Review: Korres Wild Rose Cream

Korres Wild Rose 24hr Moisturising Brightening Cream £20 via Asos

You may have heard me harp on about this product in my Christmas and Haul post but after using it for two months it's time for its own review.

I'll start off with a bit about my skin type and face routine. Describing my skin is a bit difficult, mostly combination but I get the odd dry patch above my eyebrows (it's just not me is it?! Let me know!) then sometimes a quite oily T-zone, which is expected anyway, and I get the usual breakouts as any teenager does, thanks hormones! Before I started using the product I was a Simple moisturiser gal through and through, thinking that cheap creams work just as well as expensive but how wrong was I. I use this, after cleansing and toning everyday, taking only a little bit on my finger to cover all areas of my face and neck.

I first came across the product through a mini Korres set I got for Christmas and practically used up the whole tester before purchasing the full size version. It's quite a thick consistency, meaning that a little bit goes a long way. You can see in the second picture how little I've used, moisturising my face twice daily since middle January!

Korres is know for it's all natural ingredients and it actually has a massive list on its packaging of all the nasty chemicals it doesn't have. Which is pretty handy for me as I'm quite careful with what products I use, making sure that I'm not smothering something that's full of chemicals all over my face. It has a faint rose scent, which I like. I think that because of the natural ingredients I've been breaking out less, even when my hormones show their faces every month.

One thing I would say is that it's Brightening claim isn't 100%. It does make your skin look slightly more glowing, but not as much as I would expect from how much it costs. On the bright side (get the pun there?! haha) the packaging is so much easier to use than pump moisturisers, just because you can get into every little corner, making the most of it!

Overall, I think I'll be using this product for the rest of the year, at least judging by how much is left! It does almost everything it says on the pot and doesn't break me out.

Have you tried Korres before? What's your favourite moisturiser?

Thanks for reading!
