Review: Blog Inc

About a month ago my friend Kamila bought me the Blog Inc by Joy Deangdeelert Cho, whose blog oh joy! I am insanely jealous of. This book takes you from the start, right to the end where Joy gives you advice on becoming a full time blogger and how to finance your blog.

This is the first book about blogging I've read and I've been pretty impress with how thorough and thought out the whole book is. Although I'm definitely not at the stage where I can become a full time blogger or make any sort of money from it, it's helped me to realise what layout suits everyone, how I should plan my posts and make the best out of my blog, like I'm sure everyone wants to do!

Each chapter has a blurb beforehand, detailing what sort of information it has, which is quite helpful when you want to reference back or you've lost your place when reading! Under each section, Joy takes you through all the steps you need with lots of helpful advice and websites you can use, which is definitely a massive help for new bloggers (although I would say that most of the websites are targeted at American bloggers, but I'm sure there's alternative sites for everyone else!)

Probably my favourite parts in the book are the interviews with different bloggers. Depending on what the chapter is, a different 'style' of blogger will be answer questions referring to that chapter and about how they started up and giving their tips etc. I found it interesting to see how they had developed their blogs and become full time bloggers, plus it gave me loads of ideas for what to do with my blog!

Blog Inc can be found on Amazon and in most large book stores and I'd really recommend getting it, for all bloggers at whatever stage you are at with your blog because it's such a helpful book!

Have you got this book? What do you think? Any bloggers thinking of getting it?
Hope you enjoyed this post!
