French, Books and Waffles

Since getting a iPhone in the summer (Woo 21st Century guys!) I've been happily snapping away at everything.  Then I downloaded Instagram  and I got hooked. And as today wasn't the most interesting in an OOTD I though I'd compile a couple of images from my week.

Starting with Monday. I did an OOTD post on Tuesday with this outfit, but it's probably been one of my favourites in a long time! Crazy about spots, then finding the perfect Breton top on Asos which is now in the sale :( Overall I felt very French with my red nails and monochrome outfit, just need to add red lips and a beret!

As an inspiring journo, it's not surprising that I like books and magazines. I got the books for Christmas (Blog Inc is such a great book for bloggers, has a ton of useful tips) and I'm slowly moving through my monthly magazines, with hardly any spare time it's a struggle! Also, I'd definitely recommend John Green's books, you literally cannot put them down once you've started.

And finally today, I had my first shorthand exam (which I think went okay, fingers crossed!) and afterwards me and my friend popped along The Lanes to find the Italian ice cream parlour, Gelato Gusto, we spotted the other day. They actually had a deal on which was a coffee and waffle for £4.75, bargain for us students! Although I had a hot chocolate as I don't like coffee! The waffle was ginormous, such good quality for money, as well as delicious.

Shopping.... Again

For the past few weeks I've tried to not spend much on clothes and beauty products but some how, 20% student discount on Asos and a trip to Brighton shopping managed to convince myself that I needed this lot....

Shirt: Zara £17.99 Sale
Now, I had no idea Zara were having a huge sale on at the moment (I swear!) but the whole Brighton branch is just sale items, so it was going to happen eventually. The shirt looks a little crumpled, but I had been wearing it that day. This print seems to be everywhere at the moment but I hadn't seen a good quality top in a flattering cut, cue Zara. I'm a massive sucker for shirts and Zara so it was a match made in heaven. Great quality, not too sheer but light enough, although it does crease a hell of a lot and the collar isn't my usual style, I think Zara basics are something that every girl should have in their wardrobe.

Hot Cloth Cleanser: Superdrug £4.99

The famous Liz Earle cleanser was slightly out of my budget zone (student and all!) but I had heard that the cleanser from the Vitamin E range from Superdrug was a good dupe. Although I can't give it a proper review, since I've only been using it for a few days, so far it's lived up to my expectations. Leaving my skin baby soft and free of make up, it does what it's expected to do. Plus the hot cloth gives it a kinda spa treatment feeling, giving your skin a bit of TLC. I usually use this before having a bath or shower, 'polishing' my face off with the hot cloth and also using the L'oreal Micellar cleanser to take off my eye make up.

Eyebrow Pencil: MAC £13

An impulsive repurchase when wandering through The Lanes. Last time I went in they didn't have any in my shade, so since then I've been using my Rimmel one but MAC Fling is more suited and natural to my eyebrows. Even though they're always super busy in the store, the Brighton store do offer to help you with any testing of shades etc. and it's never that busy, in comparison to the London stores as they're tucked away in The Lanes. This eyebrow pencil has always been my favourite, great consistency and colour payoff, just a great all round eyebrow pencil.

Breton Top: Mango via Asos £17.99

I've been after a good Breton top for ages. Usually Topshop or H&M saves the day but I found this after browsing across Asos (one of my favourite daydreams to do). It's more of a knitted top than a cotton top, which makes it more warm and just a bit better quality as I know it'll keep its shape etc after washing. It's pretty long, so you could get away with wearing it as a long top with leggings but so far I've tucked it into skirts and jeans, feeling very French. I can't wait to get more wear out of this, I've seen so many bloggers and celebrities wear their Bretons so I've got a ton of ideas!

Face Cream: Korres 24hr Moisturising Brightening Cream £20

'£20 for a face cream, Rhiannon?! I thought you were a student....!' It's not my fault, well, that's what they all say! After getting hooked on them at Christmas I needed to buy the full version. I've never really had such a 'luxury' product before but after using the travel version and seeing the benefits on my skin, it's hard to say no. It includes SPF 6, added bonus, as well as having a ton of natural ingredients with a massive list of all the nasty things it doesn't have it in, another attraction. I'm usually a combination skin but in the cold weather I've been getting a couple of dry patches which this cream has vanished, leaving an almost blemish free and super soft skin. 5 out of 5 for Korres!

Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading!

Tartan and the Basics

Coat: Zara
Cardigan: Charity Shop
Top and Boots: New Look
Jeans: M&S
Necklace: Accessorize

Before we roll into Spring with all the daffs and lambs, I wanted to give tartan one last wear and this cardigan seemed the best thing to fit that. Big, comfy and only costing me a fraction of the price Topshop or other high street shops would've cost me. If that's not bargain shopping I don't know what is! Sometimes wearing just one statement piece with plain clothing is just as good as clashing your prints or wearing a new style dress. Cuts and quality I think are also key when buying the basics, gotta spend those pennies to get good wear out of them!

This slouchy outfit has been pretty perfect for today. Early morning shorthand lesson (the exam is fast approaching now!), free lesson in between, giving me time to catch up on a few blogging and Twitter bits, plus a group quiz on naming all the countries in the world then finally a reporting lesson which just dragged. Having to cram a load of information in over the past few weeks for my exams has left my brain exhausted. Luckily I have the weekend off and am going to see Wicked in London on Saturday (yup, it's my fourth time seeing it!), so I'm going to have a proper relaxing weekend, after all, that's what they're for....

Spots and Stripes

Coat and Bag: Zara
Top: Mango via Asos
Skirt and Socks: New Look
Shoes: Topshop

Well, the camera, again, seems to be messing around a bit! This skirt is actually black with white dots but looks slightly purple here... I got this top last week when Asos had 20% for students (perks of being a student!) and it's just lovely, more about that when I do the haul some time this week. I've always wanted to mix and match spots and stripes together, especially in this monochrome style, but I've never been brave enough. I always think that smaller spots or stripes are a bit more stylish than large prints, just because they're quite subtle and effective.

Another day gone, another shorthand lesson done with. This time it was another transcript lesson where the teacher reads the script, you write it done then you type it back up word for word, with only 6 or so mistakes allowed. It's pretty difficult considering you have 240 words to write done and then type back up but I'm slowly getting the hang of it, so fingers crossed for friday! Besides that I got the basis of two articles done today for my portfolio, which I'm quite happy with. Now I'm off to read this book which I've been loving and perhaps a sneaky Keeping Up With The Kardashians is in order....

Zara Love

Coat, Shirt and Bag: Zara
Cardigan and Jeans: M&S
Shoes: Converse
Bracelet: Accessorize

A post on a Monday?! Have you gone mad Rhiannon?!! Not quite yet. My timetable is a bit odd at the moment, with just the one or two lessons per day, so I have more free time on my hands this week, which means I can post more! Yay!

This shirt was one of my recent purchases from the Zara sale. After seeing this print everywhere, I was after a top that wasn't 1) cropped 2) so see through that the material deemed pointless 3) at a ridiculous price that I'd have to pawn something to buy it. I'll be doing a mini haul post of a few bits I got - it's nothing that exciting - in the next few days. But the shirt, oh Zara, you never disappoint me. Perfect fit, material and print, love it. The only thing is is that it creases like hell. Although shirts are a pain with that?!

Today has just been a blurr, college lesson which totalled just two hours (but worth it for revision for my upcoming exam), cleaning the car (only the inside, it started raining after I finished), catching up on Grammy pictures and videos - Taylor Swift's dress was just gorgeous and Beyonce's performance with Jay Z was just.... amazing - and finally catching up on blog bits and bobs! I'm having a re jiggle with a few layout areas, which will hopefully improve it all overall.

Thanks for reading!

Preppy

Jumper: Primark
Skirt and Shoes: New Look

Teaming skirts with jumpers seems to be a slight trend I'm doing at the moment.... After I only just rediscovered my skirt collection, be prepared for more next week! I love this look, it's kind of preppy with a school girl twist whilst still being casual. I wore this to my internship with Primark Super Cosy tights as it's bloomin' freezing in that office! Those tights have been a saviour on cold days, if you haven't got a pair, I'd seriously invest in a pair, almost a cross between leggings and tights. I think I'll be sad when tartan goes out of style, although I does reoccur in different forms ever Autumn/Winter, I do love getting more wear out of clothes.

Yesterday I went shopping in Brighton, but I did manage to restrain myself! Only buying a MAC eyebrow pencil, a Zara shirt that was in the sale and a hot cloth cleanser form Superdrug (I was so curious what they hype was all about!). Today has just been another morning at work and getting ready for next week, another exam to do, shorthand this time, so fingers crossed everyone!

Thanks for reading, hope you all have a good week!

Liebster

The lovely Jess from The Daily Ramblings of a Dork recently nominated my blog for the Liebster Award! I've done this a couple of times, but it's always great to give you guys an updated version, because we all like a good nose!

The Rules
You need to link back to the nominator
State 11 facts about yourself
Answer the 11 questions given to you
Nominate 11 new bloggers with less than 200 followers
Give those nominated 11 new questions

11 Facts:
1) I'm a bit of a reading nerd. I've got a bookcase full of all my favourite books and a massive stack of books waiting to be read!
2) I'm a natural redhead and the only one in the family.
3) I got my first tattoo last year.
4) Once I listen to a song that I love, it'll be on non-stop repeat for at least a week.
5) Everything in my room is extremely organised, everything is in its correct category, in colour order etc.
6) I have a cat onesie that I wear way too often! Thankfully I only wear it indoors!
7)I used to play netball for my town and it's still my favourite sport but I don't have the time to play anymore :(
8) The cinema is basically my second home. Although I won't watch scary films, I'll pretty much watch anything else.
9) Black skinny jeans are my staple item in my wardrobe. At the moment I have four pairs, all at different stages in fading and all are slightly different in style too!
10) I have a poncho. My mum knitted it for me when I was really young. It's pink and purple and made from that really soft wool.
11) I never like sitting around at home doing nothing all day. Almost everyday I'm either out, at college or at work, busy bee!

11 Questions:
1) Which is your favourite season?
I guess I would say Spring or Summer. Just because I'm not always freezing and I don't have to wear tights all the time! But I do love wearing all my jumpers and boots in the winter, just not the cold part!
2) What do you want to accomplish this year?
Ooh that's a good one. Pass my journalism course at NCTJ Gold Standard (A-C in all my subjects and 100wpm in shorthand) which is a bit of a tough one but I'm really going to push myself hard this year.
3) What topic do you like to blog about the most?
If anyone who has been reading my blog for a while, they'll know that I don't exactly have a strict blogging regime! I mostly do OOTD and give a general ramble about my day in my daily posts, so that's probably my favourite topic to blog about.
4) Favourite social media?
Either Blogger (what a surprise!) or Twitter. Blogger because it allows me to be creative and just ramble on about whatever I want. And Twitter because I can be nosey and it's a great source for blogs and news stories.
5) Would you rather visit a museum/art gallery or go to a gig/concert?
Gig/concert 100%! Not that I don't like going to museums or anything, it's just gig experiences are so unique every time and it gives you a massive adrenaline rush when the crowd really gets going and the band are on the stage.
6) What book are you enjoying lately?
I haven't got a particular book but I've started reading all of John Green's books and they're amazing.
7) What do you love about blogging?
Being able to share my thoughts and ideas with people who are similar to me. And offloading everything on to here!
8) What are your top three TV shows?
Big Bang Theory, Friends and any investigative programmes like Panorama and Dispatches, they're so interesting!
9) What is your favourite album?
Gaahh, this is like asking what are my favourite shoes! Anything from The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Eminem and..... One Direction. Okay, yes I know. Their last album was actually PRETTY GOOD. There, I said it.
10) Which post are you most proud of?
I did a little post about Confidence a while back which I'm proud of but nothing else stands out at the moment!
11) One thing you couldn't live without?
Books. If you haven't gathered, I like books a lot! The best ones are where the stories drawn you in so much that you kinda phase out for a while. Also, does the Internet count? Imagine a life without the Internet.....

My Nominees:

My Questions:
1) What's your one staple item of clothing?
2) What's your best tip for blogging?
3) Favourite memory?
4) What's you typical day like?
5) Any bad habits?
6) Favourite perfume or scent?
7) Which do you prefer online shopping or physically shopping (best way to describe it!)?
8) Beauty or fashion item that you can't live without?
9) What are you most looking forward to this year?
10) Favourite food?
11) Best thing about blogging?

No head and 1D

Jumper and Boots: Topshop
Skirt: F&F

What a lovely headless shot. This was before I managed to sort my face out and look actually okay-ish! I wore this a few days ago, which was a good change from my usual jeans and hoody combination. I've always voted comfort over style, especially in winter! But I dragged this skirt out of my wardrobe and threw on this top, to make a not too shabby outfit. As always, I try and balance out my clothes and not wear anything too tight or figure hugging, especially if it's just another day at college!

Since I last did a post (Wednesday?!) I've spent a day at my internship with the painfully slow internet and then went to bingo again. I came so close to winning this time, one or two numbers away from full houses. For a free game, winning £25 doesn't exactly sound that paid if you haven't even paid for anything. Today I went to the cinema with Kamila to see The Wolf of Wall Street which was sooo long and not that exciting anyway, then a Nandos and finally back to mine to watch 1D the film, hands down, best part of the day.

Hope you all had a good day!

I'M BACK!!

*Peaking out from behind all the revision notes* Hello!

Nope, I haven't dropped off the edge of the world or caught some nasty virus which has led me bed ridden. The boring reason is because of exams. Through out all my years at primary and secondary school, then sixth form and too many exams to count, I've never been more stressed or nervous for an exam.

Since I last did a blog post, all those weeks ago, I've finished two exams and actually managed to survive them! I'll be getting the results in the next few weeks so fingers crossed! It's been a massive relief to get it all done and now it's back to business. Expect OOTDs, reviews and all the other ideas I've got running around in my head, God I've missed this blog!

Thanks for sticking around everyone!

Review: Death Comes to Pemberley

Image from Telegraph

Being an English literature fan/freak, when Death Comes to Pemberley was advertised on BBC1, I hoped my Austen drama craving would be satisfied.

Although I am yet to read the novel by P.D. James, I've read Pride and Prejudice too many times which always leaves you needing to know more. Some critics did pick up on the murder-mystery theme not entirely in keeping with Austen, but it did work well in showing how the characters had progressed in their lives. Showing Darcy and Lizzie happily married with a child and everyone else all content and stress free, until Wickham comes in to, basically, cause a whole load of drama. Not intentional though (he didn't actually murder his friend in the end) but as usual, when Wickham is involved, the drama follows him.

At this point, you begin to realise how well picked the cast is. Sticking truly to Austen's characters, Mrs Bennet and Lydia were as hysterical and dramatic as ever, Lizzie was her witty self and Darcy, his smouldering personality, although he had soften since.

We did manage to guess who the murder was (I won't say who in case some people haven't watched it yet!), almost straight after the first episode or so. But it was a clever and interwoven story. Of course the 1995 TV version still holds itself, Colin Firth in a wet shirt anyone?! I did slightly prefer that 1995 Lizzie, just because she was a bit more wittier and her personality was closer to the novel.

Overall, I'd probably give it a 8 out of 10. Casting was very well done and the murder mystery theme did mix things up a bit and it has satisfy my need to know more now!

Did you watch it? What did you think of it?

Magic

Coat and Cardigan: Zara
Dress: Primark
Shoes: Topshop
Bag: New Look

Oooh, another exciting outfit! I always want to wear something smart to my internship, just to give the right impression and everything. But, as always, during this time of year black seems to be the only thing that I wear. Although, as some of you may know, I am a big lover of black skinny jeans. Also, I love smart straight lines, good tailoring is key. I think creating a good silhouette is another key thing, like either legs or chest out, not both. Whenever I'm choosing what to wear, I think that if you're going to wear a tight fitting top, then wear a loose fitting skirt or trousers to balance it out.

Today's just been a day full of revising and spending time with my fam. Mostly my brother as he got back from Australia a few days ago and I haven't seen him since last November! Crazy! Right now we're watching Dynamo, trying to work out how he does his tricks, but I think that's the beauty of magic. You're not suppose to know how they do it and you'll drive yourself crazy trying to work it out. My fav has to be David Blaine, totally amazing.

Here's his levitation trick to amuse you:

Dentist Horror

Coat and Bag: Zara
Cardigan: Primark
Top: New Look
Jeans and Necklace: H&M
Shoes: Converse

I loved wearing this outfit, I was having a right mare the night before trying to work out what I could throw on quick and still look okay-ish! Teaming casual clothes alongside smarter pieces is one of the things I love doing with clothes, it's almost like being creative with a piece of art or something! Since I bought these jeans they've been stuck to my legs. Not literally, but they might as well be. Layering up necklaces has been another 'thing' that I do quite often and with my massive jewellery collection, it's tough to get through them all individually throughout the year, so why not wear them together?! The only rule I have with that is that they've got to be different lengths and sometimes different metal colours, otherwise it looks a bit too chunky and they all get tangled.

So, I had the dreaded dentist today. I knew he'd tell me that I'd have to have a filling today! To say I'm not happy is an understatement. I guess I'm a bit OCD with my teeth, flossing, using mouth wash and brushing them twice a day, which has probably saved me from fillings up until now. I'm booked in for February, because I've got so much going on and that's my next free weekday! Although I have done a little Googling just to see what the procedure is and how much it hurts. Apparently they give you a local anaesthetic, which I'm not looking forward to! I had some teeth out when I was younger and was suppose to have local anaesthetic but chickened out after I saw the needle :( Have you guys ever had fillings? And how much did it hurt?!

Pizza and a Run

Coat and Bag: Zara
Jumper: H&M
Top: Urban Outfitters
Leggings and Socks: Topshop
Shoes: Converse

And here's that day when I literally couldn't be bothered! Throwing on a top with leggings is probably one of the laziest options but boy is it good! Never underestimate the comfort that is the leggings. Probably my 'lazy day' of the week, whereby I'm in college stupidly early (when I have to drive with my full beams on, that's when it's too early to be up) and don't leave until it's dark. Basically, I don't see daylight! So if I can't wear pjs or a onesie this is the next best option.

Today I was at my internship for the day, where I update the listings, do general social media stuff (tweeting and posting on Facebook, easy for a social networking freak like me!) and I also get the opportunity to post on the website from time to time. This week I did this post which was a challenge to get everything in and make it flow but my editor seemed pleased with it!

I then ran for the train to go on a quick power walk/run with my sister, although there was a strange guy following us, I did consider throwing my pizza at him and running off but I wanted the pizza (bit ironic, going for a walk/run then having pizza and sweets for dinner, but hey ho). Tomorrow it's off to the dreaded dentist but it's in a town called Lewes which I love going to so I guess that'll be fun, even if I am on my lonesome!

Hope you all have a good week!

Forever I try to make it right

Cardigan, Coat and Bag: Zara
Shirt and Scarf: New Look
Jeans: M&S
Shoes: Topshop

Ever wondered what someone with no sleep and a gazillion things to do?! You're looking at her. Never have I been so knackered and it's only Wednesday! Although I have spent the past hour looking at blogs and wasting my life away on Youtube but that's not the point....

I wish these pictures showed all the detailing on my shirt (perhaps some close up photos on certain areas e.g. jewellery would be good?) It's kinda art deco tile print, with the pockets in a different print and seashell style buttons, so cool. Thankfully, this shirt isn't too tight around the neck, so I don't feel like I'm constantly being strangled! I did wear my gold swallow necklace but the close up didn't come out as well as I hoped i.e. blurred, yellow lighting and totally out of focus.

This week has been filled with revision and mocks, not exactly the best of weeks but to think that there's only two or three weeks left of it is an amazing relief. I feel like I've finally cracked writing 60 words per minute in shorthand and that I'm slowly getting my head around Business of Magazines and Public Affairs in time for the exam. But I guess it'll just depend on the exam won't it?

The rest of my exciting week contains my internship day tomorrow, power walking with my sister, the dentist and a ton of revising. Wish me luck!

Hope you're all having a great week, thanks for reading!

Back to reality

Crazy beautiful sky outside my window this morning!

With Christmas and New Years Eve over, it's now time to go back to normality. I do enjoy Christmas time as it mostly involves lazying about and eating as much as humanly possible! Although since being at sixth form and now college, all January means to me is exam time, which also means that most of my Christmas holiday has included a ton of revision. Perhaps the only difference this time is that I actually like the course I'm doing, although that still doesn't stop the nerves.

In terms of this blog, going back to college means I'll be doing my regular outfit of the day posts from Thursday to Sunday (and perhaps Wednesday if it's possible to fit in!). I hope to add a bit more content than just my outfits and give you guys a bit of variety to have a nose through!

Hope you all have a great week, see you Thursday!

Boring Haircut and Exam Stress

Coat: Nan's
Jumper: Zara
Top: Topshop
Jeans and Bag: H&M
Shoes: Nike

Gahhh, it's that dreaded light again! At least it's better than the yellow light. So, I finally got my hair cut, can you tell?! Haha. I haven't been that adventurous with my hair since I had it cut into a bob two years ago (they shaved the back of my head, that's how short it was!!) To say it's taken a long time to get this length is an understatement! All I usually ask for is all the dead ends cut off and a few more layers, is that too boring?! I think I'm still trying to work out what style suits my face, of course one of the great worries of today!

Besides lounging around at home and spending unhealthy hours on the internet, I have actually been revising. Although it hasn't gone as well as I hoped. With my exam in about two weeks, I don't think I should be looking at the questions with a massive question mark on my face. But after a little panic and pull-yourself-together kinda realisation, I just got on with it and suddenly it all stared flowing, sometimes I think maybe I think 'Ah no I can't do this' without realising that I can and that it's all up there, so to speak. Now thinking about the exam, it doesn't look too bad *puts on positive face*

New Years Resolutions

So if you didn't know, it's officially 2014! And of course a new year means New Years Resolutions. I'm not actually too bad with keeping my resolutions, once I get into a routine it sticks quite well. Here we go:

1. Stop being a pushover Perhaps this is a bit mean on me but sometimes I manage to get into difficult situations which I could have said no to in the first place.

2. Say 'yes' to more opportunities Slightly contradicts resolution one! What I mean is that I'd like to start doing more things which I'm usually quite shy about doing, getting myself out of my comfort zone!

3. Start taking care of myself Take care of my skin and body better really, as I've been ignoring it all recently! Example: I haven't had a haircut since September, maybe August?! Don't worry, I'm going tomorrow! Also I've started running again, which I've been really excited to get back to.

4. Concentrate on my studies more and push myself more I've started doing this by cutting down my hours and trying to not get too distracted when revising! Also, I don't know what it is but I've been feeling a lot less energetic, so I haven't been putting 100% into my work all the time.

There's my New Years Resolutions for you, I didn't want to add any more because I might not be able to stick to them!! They all seem easy to accomplish of I put my mind to it and work blooming hard!

What's your New Years Resolutions? Thanks for reading. Link me your post or let me know in the comments!

Christmas Sale Haul

Hey everyone! I did plan on doing a post yesterday but I kinda got down on the dumps. I don't really like New Years Eve or New Years Day, I think it's because it involves a lot of reflecting on the year which makes me disappointed.

Moving on.... I've put together a little sale haul from a couple of shopping trips I've done over the past few weeks, so enjoy!

Real Techniques Brushes: I saw a Boots Buy One Get One Half price deal and after I lusted over the Expert Face Brush for ages I took the plunge and bought it. Oh My. I never knew how much difference a brush can do to your make up. 10/10 for this bad boy, sets my foundation beautifully and blends like a perfection. I also needed a new eyeshadow brush, so the Shading Brush was added to my collection. I've only used it a couple of times and does the job, although I haven't tried any dark smokey eyes yet which will test it properly.

Topshop Lipstick Pillow Talk: My first Topshop lipstick! I've heard a ton of positive reviews about this shade already. It's quite light, which means I can wear it easily in the day then build it up for a brighter colour in the evening. Quite moisturising, which is handy in this colour weather and just a great all rounder!

Accessorize Gloves: These gloves are lifesavers when you want to keep your hands warm whilst using your phone etc. My last pair had holes in and were quite thin anyway, so once I saw these were half price AND had thick fleecy lining, I was sold. I love the fair isle and striped pattern clash, I really want to start clashing prints but I don't feel confident enough yet!

Primark Collar Top: My local Primark recently moved stores and had an update, which has been a long awaited change! When I first saw this top the smallest size they had was a 14 and looked too big on me, but luckily I found an 8 randomly hanging on the end of a rail. Must have been fate! Tried it on, Loved it, Bought it. I wore it for New Years Eve with black skinnies, pumps and my denim jacket.

Nike Running Shoes: As nearly everyone's New Years resolution includes some form of getting fit or eating healthily, I also need to get back into my running. Since starting college I've literally had no time for a run, whereas I used to got 4 times a week before. And now my old trainers have gotten a bit haggard and dirty, I picked up this beautiful pair in the sales. Extremely lightweight but still gives you the support, waterproof, breathable, blah, blah. And it comes with a pair of blue laces too. I'm going to have much more fun than I should have swapping the laces around......

TRESemme Diffuser Dryer 2200: And finally a new hairdryer, totally going wild now! My old one is getting heavy and I lost the nozzle a few years ago so my hair has been a bit wild since then (I'm blaming my crazy mane on that!) For only £20-ish, it's pretty good, I'm going to try the diffuser thing tonight, although it looks a bit scary!
