Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells!

Jumper: Chairty shop/DIY lace
Jeans: Next
Coat: Zara
Scarf: New Look
Boots: H&M

Hello ladies! It's officially winter this morning :( Had to get the massive coat out plus scarf and gloves! Although when it starts getting frosty that means snow.... which I love! Snow is good but when it turns to ice I absolutely hate it. I've fallen over so many times from ice, once it was right outside my house and it turned out that I had fractured my wrist! Not fun. Anyway! Today my outfit is quite casual, when it gets this cold all I care about is keeping warm! So one of my many colourful scarfs is necessary to add a bit of jazz. I have wayy too many scarfs, all different colours and shapes! Although how many is too many.... really!!! One of my favourite things to wear in winter is jumpers, all you've got to do is shove them on and they'll look fab, I try to pick out ones with a cool pattern as they don't have to be  accessorised at all. Another favourite thing is scarfs and gloves, there's so many cute designs that I'm always so tempted every year!

I've actually go some news, I'm off to Brussels with my sister and mum tomorrow! We do something christmassy the first weekend of December every year and this year with cheap eurostar tickets and hotel, we have the chance to go! So I probably won't be posting until next Wednesday at the latest with all the pictures and everything! So I hope no one gets snowed in or flooded whilst I'm away and that everyone has a good weekend!

A little Chanel, darling.

Cardigan: Primark
Top: American Eagle
Jeans and Scarf: New Look
Jacket: Zara
Bag: H&M

An update on the school front: I got no work done! The school website is down, so I can access any of my files, such a shame that I can't get that essay in.... It'll just give me more time to beat my brother at Mario Karts! haha. It's weird how rubbish he is even though he's a boy and 8 years older than me...! The cardigan kind of reminded me of Chanel style a bit, which is so pretty and lady like! I wasn't too sure what to wear with it but I think the lace top goes well. I adore that jacket, I've had it for too long and there's holes in the lining, but I'll just call that well loved! haha.

Little Booties!

Jacket and Shoes: Topshop
Top: Primark
Jeans: Asos
Scarf: New Look
Necklace: Sister's

Hallloo there! Sorry I've been a bit AWOL, busy busy! You may have seen in my last post that I've been stressing out a bit and it hasn't stopped! haha I always say there's never enough hours in the day to get everything done. But I'm gonna start using my free periods at school to actually do some work! But I'll let you know how long that will last! I've just got back from parents evening with my mum and that went okay, everyone basically said that there shouldn't be any problems getting my target grades, but that I should speak up in class a bit more! But in most of the classes I've got some really loud and intimidating girls, so I don't say anything really! Besides that everyone seems happy with what I'm doing, except me really, I think that my work could be so much better with more time! Hopefully I'll find some over Christmas to catch up on everything :)

This is a pretty plain outfit but, as usual, the weather was looking fairly grim so this is what I came up with. I like wearing green clothes coz it contrasts well with my hair colour and I LOVE massive necklaces, they can really pull an outfit together and makes casual outfits a little bit more jazzy. These boots are a personal favourite of mine, soo comfortable, even though they may get my feet wet a little in the rain. They kind of remind me of Native Indians and what kind of clothes they'd wear ( Like Pocahontas)! They were actually my sister's but she threw them out ages ago, so since then they've been my babies!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Headaches and Stress

Jumper: Primark
Top: International
Jeans: M&S

So today started off good, got up, had a shower then the stress began! Most of the time I decide what I'm going to wear when in the shower but today I had no idea then spent ages choosing, I was almost late! I blame the weather! haha It's sooo unpredictable I can't decide what to wear anymore! I love this top, it's so pretty and girly. I wore this with my green parka and black biker boots to toughen it up a bit! haha

So I started off thinking that I should be okay school work wise, nothing too big to do this week, then I realised how much time we have left until Christmas! Only 4 school weeks! Eeek! I've got so much to do before then, plus add on the Christmas presents and work then I'll literally have no free time to do anything :( And to top it off I have a headache thinking about it all! I think that's probably because I haven't drunk anything for most of the day and have been staring at this screen for too long! On that note I'm off to have a relaxing bath then I'm a Celebrity and bed!

Sock Monkies!

Little different from my normal posts but I thought I should share this with you!
At the coffee morning a few weeks ago my sisters friend made sock monkies for it, so I nicked the pattern and made my own!I've discovered that I'm absolutely rubbish at sewing! They're so fiddly to make but look awesome. It was strangely therapeutic to stuff the sock with cushion stuffing. I'd definitely recommend them if you need a good Christmas present! There are tons of patterns online but some aren't that good (as I learnt!)

Have fun!!

Why, oh why?!

Jumper and Jacket: Topshop
Shorts: Tesco
Necklace: Present
Shoes: International
Scarf and Bag: Primark

First time I've worn shorts in ages! From the looks of the weather a skirt or dress just wasn't going to work. I wasn't sure about wearing shorts too but they're long enough to not look like those kind of shorts where your arse is hanging out, I mean WHAT IS THE POINT IF IT'S NOT EVEN GOING TO COVER YOUR BUM!! Sorry I get a bit passionate about things like that!

I got this necklace for my 17th from a friend and at first I wasn't so sure about it but I've grown to love it.... even if it does weigh like a ton of bricks! Those shoes I got last year for Christmas so have lasted quite a long time, they're a bit muddy today from the walk home! They're velvety which is so nice to stroke (It's not just me who strokes velvet is it?!) my friend hates the feeling when touching it, so whenever we go shopping I jump in front of her and rub velvet clothing over her face! Such a nice friend I am! haha

This afternoon was another onesie day, currently watching Home and Away whilst I do this. It's about the only soap I'll watch but I do get pretty jealous of the beach there! I've got quite a bit of homework to do, as usual, so I'll be stuck doing that this weekend. Also I'm going to get a bit of filming done for my media project, weather permitting though! And I've started making Christmas presents for a few friends and family, although I'm not too sure how well made they are!

Hope everyone has had a good week!

Wind and Straight Hair Do Not Mix!

Jumper top: New Look
Hoodie: H&M
Jeans: M&S
Jacket: Topshop
Scarf: River Island
Bag: Primark
Earrings and Ring: Accessorise

You can't really see in this picture but my top is mint green! I haven't worn it in ages for some reason but it was so cold and windy this morning that I needed something warm! I've seen quite a lot of floods around the UK but none of them have come my way yet so hopefully I'll be missing it all, hope any of you guys affected by it haven't had it too bad. I took these this morning coz I knew that the walk to the bus stop would ruin my straight-ish hair, which the rain and wind did! I love those earrings so much, they remind me of Egyptian jewellery, also one of my friends liked them so that's another thing to buy them for Christmas!

So I mentioned that I went to an open evening at Brighton College last night and I just wanted to give you an update on it all. So basically I'm going for an interview around March time, if I get through that then it's going to be an aptitude test which involves a lot of scary things: creating an article from a press release then making my own story with 5 follow up stories! There's something else to do but I've forgotten, I think it was because I went blank when he way talking about it all! Hopefully it should go okay, he said that I look like a determined person! haha. So today I've started preparing myself for it all, so when they ask me at the interview I'll know what to say! I've got my top journalists of all time (One of them actually faked being insane to be admitted into an asylum then wrote an article about it!) and hopefully going to ask around the local publishers to some work experience! Fingers crossed!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Aye I just sheared my sheep this morning!

Jacket: Topshop
Top, Skirt and Bag: Primark
Scarf: Holiday present

Okay, this outfit made me look a bit like a farmer! I think it's the skirt and colours! Everyone loved my skirt at school and they were surprised when I said it was Primark, good old Primark! I always find great bargains there but then again sometimes their stuff does disappoint me :( I think it depends on what one you go to and what stuff they have in. I also wore my favourite black knee high fringed boots, which have been worn so much that they officially have holes in the heels so I can't walk in any puddles!

I've got a bit of a busy day today, I have a History lesson in a bit then a driving lesson then back to school for English at 3 then straight off to an open evening at Brighton college! I'm so looking forward to visiting the college as it's something I really really want to do! So fingers crossed everyone!

Have a good week everyone!

Christmas is on it's way!

Hello lovelies! So today me, my mum and sister went to the Southbank Christmas market in London for a little Christmas shopping!

The first one is from the southbank (I thought I had a photo of me and my sister but mum couldn't work the camera, bless her!) and the second is from St Jame park, we practically walked everywhere! I love London wayy too much, I love how busy and crazy it is and how you can practically get anything there! We walked through Trafalgar Square, past Buckingham palace, past the London Eye and Parliament and finally along to the new Primark on Oxford street (it's amazing in there, definitely worth checking out!), so obviously we couldn't resist going in......
I already have a black and white cardigan like this one but it's so cute! And not too costly for only 12 squids! I've been looking for a tartan/farmer-ish skirt and found one in New Look but the shape wasn't right, so I literally ran for this when I saw it and made sure it fit me, which resulted in lots of awkward looks as I shimmied it up over my jeans to check that it fitted perfectly but I'm so happy I did it! It is okay to fall in love with a skirt?! haha

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!!

Clever Coat!

Dress: Swap with Nakedblueberry
Earrings: Topshop
Jacket: Primark

Okay, so I didn't wear this today it was from the other day but I didn't have time to upload them :( Again I got the 'your skirt is too short' comment from mother! So I wore them with knee high boots to hopefully make it not look 'too short' but whether it worked or not I have no idea......! I quite like wearing black clothing but I always worry that it's too black, so have to keep swapping bits around with more colourful pieces. It's true that in the winter you do wear darker clothes! I think it's almost time to crack out the winter coats coz it's getting that cold, last week was the first time I've had to de-ice my car this year! It turns out that my green zara coat with leopard print lining you can actually unbutton the lining from the coat making it a lot thinner! Such a clever coat! And I'm pretty impressed with the fact that there's two different pockets for you to put your hands in, one with your hands going in side ways and the other with your hands going straight down (If that makes any sense! haha)

When I logged on today it told me that all my blogs that I follow had been deleted! So I quickly logged off and back on then they all came back, phew! I had a mini panic attack then. Did anyone watch Children in Need last night? It always makes me sad but then happy at how much was raised, I don't think child poverty is something that is a major thing that the government do a lot about, so these charity events are just awesome! Tonight I'm all on my lonesome as everyone is out, so I'm thinking a meal for one, The Notebook film and a box of chocolates is needed!

Children in Need!

So in Sixth form at my school the sixth formers are allowed to dress up for children in need! Last year I went as Cat in the Hat, I loved this costume as it was soooo comfy and warm! I was suppose to have thing 1 and thing 2 with me but they didn't get their costumes in time :( So this year I went as a Geisha, as my brother went to Japan for work and brought me back a kimono! So I just added a belt, pulled my hair back in a bun with pencils for chopsticks, cat eyeliner flicks and red lipstick and voila! Although this year I only had one lesson so I was only in for 2 hours or so :( We normally have loads of stuff to buy like candyfloss and cakes, then there's a band and a teacher vs student netball match at lunchtime but I didn't see them as I wasn't in for lunch, so I'll definitely be watching the BBC1 children in need programme this eve and donate!

I know I haven't posted in a while between work, seeing my brother and Nandos yesterday I haven't had the time! On Wednesday my brother came round and we had a Wii match, basically I thrashed him at everything, except ping pong and sword fighting :( I thought I should let him win something, although I did expect him to win at Mario Karts! Me and a few friends popped to Nandos last night which was awesome coz the food is amazing (Chicken burger with mango and lime sauce with garlic bread and chips, YUM!) plus one of my besties is off to Madrid for a few days on a school trip so it was a goodbye meal too! It's always quite funny to fit five 17 year old girls plus shopping bags and full stomachs into a tiny Ka!

Hope everyone else is having a good week!

Getting a bit shirty!

Jumper: H&M
Shirt and Jeans: New Look
Earrings: Accessorise

Oh no, I think I should've shut those doors now! I thought it would be okay but it looks like a right mess :( Another thing to add to the list! Is it just me who makes lists of stuff to do? It's so easy to see what you've got to do next and it feels good when you've ticked off another thing! Today I had another driving lesson so went for a casual/smart look. I haven't worn this shirt in ages but I love it, although it does crease up so badly! It's quite a long on too so I could wear it with leggings. I was going to wear my new mustard cardigan but I manage to get mascara on it (somehow!) so that had to go in the wash. I also haven't got these earrings out for a while, I went through a phase of buying earrings from Accessorise nearly every week, so I have quite a good collection now! My friend said that she liked them so I may have to scout out for a similar pair for her Christmas present.....

I mentioned that I had another driving lesson which went okay, we did a mock test to see what I'm like now and basically my driving instructor took me along all the really difficult roads, one was a massive hill where I had to keep diving into spaces and move off from hill starts, not fun! I still passed but now he knows that I hate that hill he's going to take me up it all the time now! haha lovely instructor! Update on the total for the coffee morning last Saturday so far it's a £451 and counting as we've got a few more bits to sell! It's always great fun doing stuff like that coz you're helping others out, which is awesome! I've also got another event happening on Friday for Children in Need at sixth form, so I will let you know then!

Hope everyone is having a good start to the week so far!

Yummy Cakes and Crafty Crafts!

Can you say crafty crafts?! Sounds a but strange but it's staying! I mentioned on my last post that me, my mum and sister held a coffee morning this Saturday, we baked cakes, made crafts and collected lots of books and bits and bobs for the raffle to raise money for our local hospice.

My department was the cakes bit! We had a few more round the corner but the picture came out a bit blurry. We asked Waitrose to donate a few cake boxes so people can use them and we ran out straight away but we survived the rest of the time! We counted up how much we got just from the cake stall
and it came up to £110, with the cakes being 50p each! So we sold and baked loads! The left hand side picture is a few of the crafty bits my mum and sister had made (I'm not the best at stuff like that, it's all too fiddley!) They did so well and the stuff they made was just awesome, mum knitted hats and hot water bottle covers and my sister made all the christmas decorations . the last picture is the knitted people that my mum's auntie made and donated, she gives them to Great Ormond Street Hospital to the children which is awesome! Overall we worked out that we've raised £401 so far and hopefully more, coz we've got a few bits left for the people that couldn't make it. I've loved doing it coz you get a great feeling from it afterwards, plus any of the left overs I get to eat! haha

Buuzzz.... Busy bee....Buzzz

Cardigan: H&M
Top: American Egal
Jeans: M&S
Socks: Primark

First off I apologise for not blogging for a while, things have been a little crazy! I had a couple of essays to do over the half term which I 'forgot' about so there was a mad rush to get them done :( I always think that they'll be easy but when I got to it it was a lot harder than I thought! Ah well they're done and dusted now. I also had a special event on this Saturday that me, my mum and sister held. We did a Christmas themed coffee morning this year with lots of crafts and cakes, which people loved! I'm going to do a post tomorrow about it all and include a few pictures!

So after all that me and my mum were still buzzing a bit so felt like we had to do a bit of shopping to reward ourselves! I bought the mustard colour cardigan coz I'd seen a few people wearing that colour and thought why not try it out! I've already got plans to wear it with a blue Topshop dress and a leopard print top! My socks had officially had enough, most of them have holes now :( So some new pairs were needed! The owl print is just too cute and my friends always say that I look like a cat, so these live up to that name! haha I also bought a green skater dress from New Look but it's too big for me, I thought a 10 would be okay but the top is massive! So it has to go back :( I've officially started Christmas shopping! I saw a really cute present for my friend, but I can't tell you what it is as she made read this but if she doesn't like it I'll definitely have it!

Meow!

Jacket and Dress: TopShop
Cardigan: Swap with NakedBluberry
Necklace: Accessorise

I could not wait to wear this dress! I'm now not too sure whether the leopard cardi goes with it but heyhoy I wore it anyway! The first thing my mum said was 'Oh it's a bit short isn't it?' Thanks mum. It's not too bad actually, I'd just wouldn't recommend you'd wear it on a windy day haha. I'm loving this jacket, it's great for the windy and rainy days, plus it comes with a hood!

Me and Charlie (my cat) are currently catching up on last nights Downton Abbey, so none ruin it! I'm actually quite upset that it's gone now, what will I watch on Sunday nights now! Guess it'll have to be Xfactor results, can anyone else believe that Rylan Clark is still in it?! To be honest he's boring me now. I hope Jahmene or James wins, they're def the best ones in there, although I do have a secret guilty pleasure in District3!! Lovely Jubbly. Anyho I'm going to attempt to take off my Nails Inc nail polish, so far it hasn't gone that well, I'd probably only buy them again if it was in a really nice colour as it is a bit of a struggle getting it off!

Hope everyone is well and having a good week so far!

Oh I do like to be by the Seaside!

A little shopping trip with my friends before we all got back to sixth form!

Jumper and Bag from Primark
Dress: Topshop
Mascara: Benefit

I love the speckled jumpers and tops from Topshop but they're so expensive! This jumper was a cheaper version for 6 squids so I'm pretty chuffed with it. I'd probably wear it with a few pretty necklaces, black skinnies and my converse, ala casual look! I didn't really need a bag... but I couldn't resist it! It's a lovely colour for the autumn and fits all my books and bits in. I did a post the other week with a cardigan from my sister in a similar colour to this dress and fell in love with it. I've got another top from topshop that is made from the same material, lycra, which fits sooo well! I can imagine it with a black leather jacket, biker boots and some chunky jewellery. I recieved a free BAD gal lash mascara in a Glamour magazine months ago, so my addiction began!! It's such a lovely natural look with no clumps, so I broke the bank and treated myself to one! I'd definitely recommend it.

My highlight of the day was buying a Krispe Kreme in my favourite flavour (Strawberry Cream) and then dribbling it all over my scarf.... although none of my friends noticed so I saved that one! A middle-light was seeing Katie Price with her kids in her pink landrover, she was stuck in a yellow box on one of the busiest cross roads in Brighton whilst everyone was crossing around her.... Hmm attention seeking? Oh if we didn't known first off it was her, her personlised number plate said it all 'Hott Kate'! haha

DobrĂ½ den, z Prahy!

The masses of meat we ate on the first night/ St Wenceslas Square/ Prague Castle/ Prague/ Astronomical Tower/ Charles Bridge/ Mum and Me/ Old Town/ Prague Castle and Charles Bridge

I'd sum this holiday up in one word: Cold!! We literally got off the plane and it was already snowing! Throughout the 4 days we were there it did brighten up a bit but we still so cold, so glad I brought my zara jacket as it kept me toasty! We did a ton of walking, coz most of the places you can reach on foot which was good but my feet ached so much afterwards! The food they had there was amazing, if you love meat you love Prague. They do just about everything there!

These are the little Russian dolls I bought. They had them in all of the shops, so i just had to get one... or two! The pink one is a key ring and the blue ones are just normal. I also bought a few postcards to stick up on my wardrobe door, as I do on every holiday so I can remember all of the sights!

Anyway, hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed the fireworks!

11) If you could travel back in time, what year would you visit and why?
1939, coz I'd see my grandad as a child and learn more about WW2, which I find really interesting!

Questions I am asking:
When and why did you start blogging?
Your favourite purchase ever?
If you were going to die tomorrow, what would be the last thing you do?
The craziest thing you've ever done?
What's the best thing about blogging?
If you could own any shop, what one would it be and why?
What is your favourite meal?
If you could pick one style icon you're inspired by who would it be?
In four words describe your personality.
What is the one thing you can never say no to?
The one thing that has inspired you the most so far in your life.
